Breaking dawn

Finally got my hardcover copy of breaking dawn at takashimaya kino at $29.20. That was after a 20% discount whee~ Firstly, i have to thank Janice, for sacrificing her twilight and lending me $$ to get breaking dawn. I had only $15.50 after the mac n cheese meal at swensens X__X Secondly, i want to thank erm.. myself? For being patient enough to wait so long before getting the book =D (mum doesnt know =X)

Teachers day celebration at nj wasnt as exciting as the ny one. Maybe the wet weather dampened the mood but the performances werent up to standard =( Maybe i have high standards haha shall not critisize here cos my blog is supposed to be a happy place :D NO ONE COSPLAYED T____T i was disappointed and no one seemed to recognise the suzumiya haruhi hand band i proudly wore on my sleeve. I know there are anime lovers at nj, but please dont tell me it's only limited to inuyasha/bleach/naruto/dgm?! Sigh.......

I don't feel like elaborating on what i did at ny. But it was great seeing the 413 ppl , i've really missed you guys. Hope to see everyone again at the next class outing!

After lunch which ended around 3pm, janice yufei yangzhi and i went to kino, straight to kino. Haha was so excited and went directly to where the volumes of breaking dawn were stacked. I was disappointed to see only paperbacks then janice spotted the hardcover version XD Deliberated for around 10 minutes and i could no longer resist temptation haha. Thankyou janice, once again =DD Went to the manga section and gasp! Trinity blood volumes 6 to 8 are already out. $5.50 each. =l It used to be $5 for each manga... I've not been updating myself on manga prices so perhaps the standard price has increased by $0.50 per book. Saiyuki book 7 is also out! I've been waiting since last year -__- about time it came to singapore.

Dear manga+illustrated manga collections, i promise to rescue you guys from the store shelves after promos! (and pw oral presentation)

history history history history

One week before the holidays, but i dont think anyone is in the holiday mood. Duh.. holidays are like packed with consolidations and pw stuff, no time to slack at all.

It had been raining the whole of sunday and i was hoping that the rain would continue till after assembly on monday so the band won't have to play but too bad for me, the rain had already ceased when i woke up on monday. Something stupid happened while i was conducting national anthem on monday. Just before the 1st chorus, one terribly large drop of rain dripped directly into my right eye T__T it stung and i had to blink/wink hard many times to get rid of the rain water. The furious blinking went on for about the whole of the 1st chorus. Aiyo, finally my eye stopped stinging and i could focus again but it occured to me that i must have been making weird and distorted faces at the band for the past 30 seconds and the thought tickled me alot. I wanted to laugh so badly.. ended up biting my lips until i couldnt take it anymore when i saw some of their O_o faces. Thankfully that was during the last few bars and i let a soft 'hahahaha' escape =X made a mistake at once, i forgot to cut the band off. But they stopped by themselves lah.

They must think that i'm some weirdo now, making strange faces and then laughing to myself. To make up for my lack of professionalism for national anthem, i put on my best dao face for inilah (school song) that day.

Cosplay crazy

Haha. If my son ever becomes that size.. because he stays at home watching anime and reading online manga all day long while digging his nose in front of the comp. I've failed as a mother.

Was looking at Rei's (from evangelion) school uniform and i think mgs's blouse should be able to pass off as the inner layer. Hmm.. ;)

I hope Singapore wins a gold medal tonight!

=D all the best to our pingpong team!

Productive weekend, read through lots of bio and did math in preparation for the coming lecture test on tuesday. Integration tingeration ringetation argh. I'm still working on my EOM, hopefully my last draft. And of course, the horrible written report which i'm sure everyone is struggling with now. Jiayou everyone! =D

Watched the new episodes for Gintama and natsume yuujinchou. <33 I want to thank the producers for brightening up my days. Gintama made me laugh more than i did this whole week in school. Natsume.. not as funny as gintama but it's meaningful and sweet to watch. I love the graphics.. and the spirits. As for manga, didnt have much time to continue reading cos i spent too much time on anime haha.
Watched acsi guitar foa on friday. Met up with mingyi who almost wanted to wear a formal prom kind of dress. Thankfully she decided on her school uniform in the end *phew* Sat in between Ruthika and Mingyi on the 2nd floor. Bao forgot to reserve a ticket for me (O_O---T ^T) so i bought a $10 standing one. The whole performance was very entertaining, better than last year's haha. Maybe cos bao and pam were performing! I dont know when my next performance is but must come and watch k! =D

Thankyou, Mr neo, for replying my eom email

And it seems pretty ok, just need to add in more examples and cut down on the quotes. I'm being influenced too much by the secondary school source based skills. Quote quote and quote. The history teachers kept emphasising on quoting full sentences too. So yep, i was quite unwilling to cut complete sentences.

Today... The blood donation drive was held in the hall and i was so excited! =D Kept looking around for a consent form and finally got it from yang sheng. I did the 'F' thing.... forge signature haha and proceeded to donate my wonderful A+ blood. Everything went well, i passed the weight check! Barely though, 46kg in my uniform =X I had enough iron in my blood too. There was a blood test before the actual donation. This nice nurse pricked my middle finger and used this straw like thingy to suck up the blood. She kept squeezing my poor finger to get more blood. I think there's a slight bruise there now and it still hurts when i type. Prepared myself mentally and was already seated confortably on the long blue chair. Another nurse came to give me that squishy thing to squeeze during the process to speed up blood flow. She tightened that... thing around my arm to make my vessals dilate. She tried it on my right arm. Then my left. I think i had a sheepish grin on my face ahaha. T________T The nurse told me that i can't donate cos she cant locate the blood vessel. AHHHHHHH WTH.

2nd WTH incident today occured on 156. Erm.. to be more exact, while i was getting down. No, i did not fall off the bus, thankfully. I was rather exhausted after all that has happened in school. (played volleyball under the horrible sun) so i fell asleep after getting on 156. It wasnt a deep sleep, i could guess which stops the bus was at. But i kinda miscalculated for my stop and only opened my eyes a few seconds after the bus door opened. The shock of my life man, i was going 'AHHHHH' in my head. Rushed down the bus without even putting my bag on properly, i was supporting the bag and file flat against my thighs. Sad to say, a soft but distraught 'Ahh' escaped while i was get out of the bus T__T It was so embarrassing lah, i think i scared some of the passengers. Found it hard to walk with my bag and file against my legs and they were dropping so i hopped to the bus stop seat. There was a lady at the bus stop and i caught a glimpse of her O_O face. I put on my best indifferent face, carried my bag + file properly and brisk walked off =l

I'm so glad there's no school on monday

Cos it means i'll get to miss PE =D

Haha lame reason but hey, who likes to wake up at 6 every day-- for school? Doing history VA now on the foreign policy of Singapore. The website that Mr D.Low gave is so.... factual and one sided. Not that i was expecting anything else from a government website. Oh well, the main thing is to get my VA done. Critisism on the typicality will be done another day when i dont have any school stuff due.

Was listening to wolf's rain songs. T____T it makes me want to cry for the fate of the poor wolves. Such a sad anime. Samurai champloo has fantastic songs! I love every single bgm in the anime! It has the best ending songs. Hmm.. actually i cant decide if honey and clover or champloo has the better ending song. T__T why am i even typing this here. I suppose no one even knows what i'm talking about except bao cheng.

Recently, i started listening to songs from this band 'the indigo'. The 1st Indigo song i heard around 2 years ago was 'Namo Shirenu Hana', the ending for Ai yori aoshi. And no, dont get me wrong, i dont watch the anime. It's a sweet song, but not sugary sweet... Just enough to make you smile after listening. Their songs range from pop rock to slow ballads and i find them very soothing. With just a guitar and the female singer's relaxing voice. An occasional appearance of sop sax too, which adds a bit of swing to some of the songs. <333 =D Janice, i'll send you some of the songs when youre online.

Please let it be sunny tmr!

Much as i dislike standing in the parade square under the scorching sun, i'll make an exception just for tmr. National day celebrations tmr and if the weather turns out to be rainy, we'll have to hold the celebrations in the hall =( which means that the band will only play a few bars of the march cos it takes less than 2 minutes for the np ppl to march from the side of the stage to the center -__-

Oh no! It's raining quite heavily now =(

Doing eom and compiling the class cip reflections at the same time. Contary to beliefs, being the cip rep is not fun and definitely not slack. It's the ultimate sai kang lah! I'm so not volunteering for anything next year.

There will ba a blood donation drive in school next tuesday. I want to donate my blood! But mum said no (again) Just because she felt faint after the one and only time she donated her blood does not mean that i'll collapse or anything.. I've a good mind to forge her signature on the form and proceed but if she ever finds out, i'm as good as dead. Haha i admit, it's curiosity more than anything else but there's nothing too risky about donating blood! I'm not afraid of needles/pain/blood and i belief i have enough to spare so why not?
=( Eh... though the weight issue and locating my vein might cause problems but those are insignificant lah

School will end at 10.30am tomorrow and i'm going straight home to do int history VA. Rest of the weekends will be spent revising chem and bio. And math too, if i feel like it =D

Breaking dawn

I am a bad girl =( Went to read breaking dawn spoilers on the net and i got what i deserved. T__T Perhaps i was expecting too much ahaha nevermind now i shall wait patiently for the price to drop before getting my copy of breaking dawn. And i will never lend my books out to anyone unless they promise to take good care of it. My poor eclipse! *still quite pissed off*

Went to watch Acsi band FOA yesterday. I think they played better than the nj band -__- nevermind! I shall work hard to attain that level of playing skill. A few of the clarinettists (is that how you spell it?) were super pro lah! The jazzy songs all had clarinet solos instead of saxophone =( Haha weird.

Still watching natusme yuujinchou and reading this ulu manga called silvery crow. The main character reminds me of rave. He also likes curry alot O_o

Friday 1 August 2008

So many things to do! Int history va, eom, read through chem notes and revise everything.

But i shall watch anime 1st haha Natsume yuujinchou. The best anime i've seen recently =D about spirits and this guy who can see spirits. Similar to xxx holic but different plot all together. The 1st few episodes were bittersweet but some parts are so cute XD HAHA ok sorry, i'm watching natsume while typing and that part was really funny lmao XDXD Go watch it ppl!

Had national day performance rehearsal for wet weather condition today. It was silly cos the the np ppl wanted the band to perform the triumphant march while they marched-- from the side of the stage to the middle. Hello?! We barely played 4 bars and it's time to stop =l -__- So i'm praying hard that the weather will be fine on the day of the celebration. I've been spending quality time with my saxophone alot this week and my mouth feels quite sore X__X my mouthpiece must be getting dirty O__O Like the time i tried yufei's mouthpiece ahaha.

Tried this game application on facebook, Mobile weapons: assault, also known as MW. It was developed by the same company who did battle stations and i'm slightly addicted =D It's a simple shooting game with no interaction with other players but still fun leh.
