New year eve X Bowboy Bebop

Reached singapore at around 9pm yesterday but slept only at 1+am cos i was smsing janice^^ I want my hunterX keychain and guide book~ XDXD At least i'm looking slightly forward to going to school now. Do we need to bring anything special? What time will i get to go home?

I'm really fussy about the brand and model of my toothbrush. I've been using nothing but OralB toothbrushes all my life and this particular model which i never noted the name of. Now i've got to change to oralB 'advantage' and it isnt as good as the previous type.... i had to throw it away cos i found a bug happily resting on the brush -__- much as i like insects, i'm not going to put any trace of it into my mouth.
Got my haircut and the hairdresser blew it so nicely, it sticks to my face. After waking up today, the ends started to stick out *horror* O__O NOOOO i'm never going to sleep on my hair again T_T
The hk and shenzhen photos will be posted another day cos i've not received them yet. Still, after gulping down a cup of champagne, i got rather high and took many photos on my last day in m'sia>< Let's start with 'return of the superdog'!! WAHAHA this is zaizai, my cousin's dog. A natural posture ok, we didnt make the dog do this XD I was lauging my head off when i saw zaizai lying on the bed like that.

I have a sexy voice

So... if my normal voice doesnt return by 2nd jan, i shall not speak at all. I'm still in malaysia now.. the time is 11.04pm. I came back from hongkong on the 27th with a slight cold. By today, it disappeared magically, but in return i lost my voice T__T

Went anime shopping today at Penang, visited almost all the famous DVD/VCD shops but i still can't find Noir or Madlax. The worst thing was, i saw both anime for sale in an ulu shop at shenzhen!!!! The packagings for both were soooo impressive but my mum refused to buy cos they were pirated. I almost threw a fit right thereT__T Imagine my disappointment... just imagine.. youve been pinning for this thing for almost a year and when you finally see the item for sale right in front of your eyes, someone drags you out of the store by force and tells you that you can't have it!!!!! O_O T ^T What a cruel world

And so.. without Noir or madlax, i settled for cowboy bebop and Mushishi. I was quite tempted to get Eureka7, technolyze, ergo proxy and even darker than black but i still decided against those. In almost all CD shops i went to, Claymore, Mushi-uta and darker than black could be seen. Kind of overrated ne? -__- Also bought a shirt, a pair of jeans and some olympic stuff in shenzhen. Got new bag and a school bag in malaysia. Eh, plus 2 anime series, hoping to add 2 more to the total. ^^ I'm not a great shopper as you all can see =(

Oh yeah!! I'm going to get a haircut tomorrow =D

OH YES before i really forget. I DO NOT LIKE YAOI (openly or secretly). Isnt that obvious enough? A little bit of shounen ai is ok i guess but nothing more. Bao, i know the meaning of seme and uke. How could i ever forget? I learnt it the hard way.

Adieu X Seme or Uke

I've added a playlist to my blog so everyone please wait patiently for the music to load. The songs are Adieu by Emily Bindiger and Diamonds by Illaria Graziano from Cowboy bebop ost. I had some trouble finding a playlist T__T and it took me almost half an hour to get the playlist uploaded onto my blog so people, please be appreciative ok?

Flying to malaysia early tomorrow morning! I'm quite excited ^^ Finally, i will be able to get my anime and meet up with my cousins. Not to mention animax ahaha wonder what anime i'll see there. Arts central will be airing 2 more anime *smile* Burst angel on wednesdays and Azumanga daioh on thursdays. Finally we have something new and worth watching. I'm not saying that Monster isnt worth watching, but it's quite 'unfriendly' with the horror genre and plain graphics.

Burst angel brings to mind Kiddy grade.. Pretty much a shounen anime with the busty girls, short skirts and sutff lol but the songs are good. As for azumanga daioh.. i personally prefer the manga but the anime still manages to bring a smile to my face =)

Ah.. i've got to get lunch and contacts solution at the optical shop so i shall end my entry here.

Maple and Spike belongs to me haha

Taking a break from maple, i just lvled! XD The guild master has been bugging me for the lvl 50 thief outfit, so i'm chionging lvl as much as possible before i leave for malaysia. Having a slight headache, which is quite rare.. so i think there will be an earthquake somewhere =l CHOI LAH! -__-

Ah.. Bao, i keep forgetting that we're going to the same jc and yes the only reason why i'm not appealing to transfer is because the jc's only a stone throw away. Though there isn't any direct bus, it only takes me 10 to 15 minutes to reach. ^^ Walking time included. Why, i just realised that it's even closer to my house than Nanyang XD Nyahaha to those who spend 2 hours going and returning from school (Yep, i know i'm being mean =X)

Moving on to the sensitive issue of who Spike belongs to... *Glares* I won't settle for Viscious! (Because he really is uglier) But how can you say that he's a worse fighter!? Don't forget that they both died in the end and Viscious was using a sword while Spike was using a gun. Eh.. but Spike was already injured while getting past the silly sidekicks, so that makes them even. Hmm... nvm we'll share Spike then. It's not very impressive to fight and argue over a *sob* dead man.

OH SAIYUKI, it's a little hard to tell if saiyuki is shoujo or shounen. Mixture of both i guess.

PAE results will be announced tmr. Tried not to think too much about it, ignoring the possibility that i might not even get into ACJC. I can't seem to sleep before midnight nowadays.... AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO'S GOING CRAZY????!!!!

I'm pretty unstable now. Finished reading another shoujo manga. I never never ever expected myself to read any manga like this. A 100% shoujo manga, plain romance and no fighting. Even the title is corny 'Absolute boyfriend' with the picture of a semi naked man on the cover and lots of flowers. HOLD ON before some people jump to werid conclusions, i've got to clarify on how i stumbled across such a 'X-rated' manga. Absolute boyfriend (AB for short) can be found on the same website as Vampire Knights and Hunter X. Feeling bored, really bored, i decided to take on something with a little more fan service than the usual manga i read.Plenty of choices and duh i crossed out titles like 'B.O.D.Y' or 'B reaction' and omg this one..'Bitter virgin'.

AB caught my eye cos it's one of the more popular shoujo manga and i've heard of it quite a few times. Plus the mangaka isn't just anyone. The same artist for Fushigi yuugi(rings a bell anyone?), Ayashi no ceres and Alice19th. Though the drawings tend to be a little more ecchi(my personal opinions!!) but she has won some manga award which is... encouraging XD

So there you have it. Absolute boyfriend is also known as Zettai kareshi and it stars 2 bishies and a clutzy girl. Pretty cliche but why girls are attracted to such a storyline again and again i have no idea. I can be excused, for AB is the 3rd shoujo manga i've read after lonesome eden and vampire knights. The 1st chapter had me laughing like mad. I was partly giggling at the bishie and the funny scenes are refreshing. Shoujo manga has a different kind of humour.. it's hard to describe. Here's the introduction for the manga which will also explain the story a little.

'Riiko Izawa has never had a boyfriend and she has been rejected by every boy she has ever had a crush on. When she returns a lost cell phone to an oddly dressed salesman, he directs her to his company's website as a way to thank her. Riiko unwittingly ends up ordering a "figure" which will be her boyfriend with the intention of returning him after the free three day trial order.'

Let me tell you, this figure boyfriend is really the perfect boyfriend, perhaps a little less matured than Edward Cullen but still terribly easy to fall in love with. Thoughout the 30+ chapters almost every girl will grow to like him. The ending is rather heart wrenching though it's supposed to be a happy one. Ahh, i'm not making sense, am i? Anyway i'm going to type this in italics cos it seems to make a greater impact.

Shoujo manga 's effects

T____T i'm sad to say, shoujo manga has that effect on me too. I'm not much different from the crazy fangirls whom i've always looked upon disapprovingly. But i pick the shoujo manga i read very very carefully, only those with more than 50% fighting action scenes qualify. While reading the new chapters for hunter x, i started on vampire knights cos i've heard so much about it. The vampires are really really gorgeous. Every single one of them. Yup, so i've been glomping at those vampires alot. The plot doesnt make me squeal or giggle like a fangirl, just the characters.
I'm currently at the 12th chapter and (HAHA^^) it's boring me a little. This goes to show that i'm not that interested in this genre after all. Was a little worried that reading shoujo manga would turn me into a fan if it, so i need not worry now. However i shall continue reading the series cos i've always been interested in vampires. Let's see the things that i look out for in manga/anime: Vampire, Bounty hunter, Mecha, Gun, Bishounen. Hmm.. vampire knights has 3 out of the 5 i listed. Not too bad for a shoujo manga.

Spider9 is now lvl 57 ^^ i have the outfit (minus the shoes) for lvl 60 but not the weapon =(

I'm tired of maple so it's back to watching anime full time again. Took a few screenshots while training ^^

Aiyo the pictures are so blur here. But never mind i think alot of ppl called cos xmousyx had to tell ppl to stop calling and that he was saboed X_X these people are really too rich, to spend money on such useless things..

I've always wanted to get a pet monkey in maple and name it goku.. The monkeys are sooooo adorable!

I finished Gungrave, nothing surprising about the ending so shall not comment much. Just that brandon is such a gentle guy XDXD *giggles* ^^ What anime should i watch next? Black lagoon and Trinity blood are in malaysia but i wont have time to watch them there cos going to china and hk too whee~~ I'll still get my anime in malaysia cos those for sale in china wont have english subtitles and are most probably dubbed in chinese too. They sound horrible+terrible=vegetable -__-

Cowboy bebop adieu

Haven't been blogging for quite long. Strange isn't it? I used to find the computer soooo seductive but now when i get to use it to maple/watch anime, the charm seems to disappear. Watching anime all day long is quite tiring after all =) Even when i'm not using the comp, i'll most probably be watching my anime dvd on the tv, reading library books, playing the piano or napping. What a boring life. But i like it! =D

Cowboy bebop ended on arts central. I've watched it 3 times and so spike died 3 times. Sometimes in the middle of the series i would suddenly remember the ending and it makes me so sad.
Let up morn silently for the greatest bounty hunter ever.

I was looking forward to the anime replacing cowboy bebop, hoping for something new and never seen before (which is almost impossible lah). So i went to the arts central website on tuesday to check. When i saw 'Monster' i felt... surprised but it was quickly followed by disappointment. =( Disappointed because this anime isn't the type that i like, still a good anime to be aired nevertheless. Graphics are not the selling point of Monster. So if youre looking for eye candy, strike Monster out. Monster belongs in the mystery and horror genre, as the name implies but there's nothing magical in this anime. Don't be expecting demons or any fairy tale kind of things. A pretty scientific anime which i think might become boring in the middle. Monster has 74 episodes, after watching the 1st 2 episodes on arts central, i found it quite captivating cos things are still being introduced. The boring part should be the development.. somewhere in the middle.

I'm looking for this cowboy bebop song which arts central used for the cowboy bebop advertisement. 'My love for you is deep inside me so strong~' Those are the lyrics. This song was also used at the opening scene of episode 25. ARGH!!! i must get it. Cowboy bebop has great songs.. perhaps i should grab all the osts if i see them.

This is so sad, i can't get the manga i want, i've not seen the anime i want being sold anywhere and i'm having trouble finding just a mere song!

Finished watching my 12 kingdoms dvd yesterday. It always makes me feel refreshed. That's the effect 12 kingdoms has on me. Many ppl find it boring, especially the later part, with the politics. How should i put it.. Politics may be boring but along with the characters that youve grown to like throughout the series and the soothing music, it will-- YESH!! I FOUND THE SONG FINALLY! XD Adieu by Emily Bindiger ^^ Cowboy bebop songs are all jazz and blues, as implied by the name. Bebop is a form of jazz characterized by fast tempos and improvisation based on harmonic stucture rather than melody.
