I turned down friday night KTV for this game

cos I was looking forward to spending quality time on the game and the invitation was last minute.. But seriously the game makes me look forward to going home instead of heading out after work. As you can tell, I brought it out with me to play while helping for shoots too haha. Not mentioning the title but spoilers ahead...

There's a recommended playing order but I followed my instincts (or rather I purposely chose the other option for the first few guys just to see what would happen) and got Kei on my first try. His first name is Okazaki and I could only think about the Okazaki fragments lolol do you all still remember bio. Anyways I really enjoyed his route, fell quite hard for him. And Kaji yuki sounded really smooth omg he already has a smooth voice but it's so light and playful here, none of that Eren angst/princey Kakeru, I've never liked his voice more.

It was my first play through and I didn't know the shooting part had a timing set to it. Kept dying and dying which was troubling cos I thought I made all the 'right' decisions, not 100% sure lah cos I didn't use a walkthrough and depended on my instincts. Imagine my relieved when I figured out the reason I kept getting the bad end and finally shot successfully. -__- I had this exact face on when I thought I was finally getting the good end but she got shot again lol turns out it's part of the good end and she survives.

Guai guai followed the order after Kei and went for Enomoto. I like his red tied up hair design and he's such a cute idiot. Imagine wearing an eyepatch not cos he lost it in a fight/during missions but because he respects Date Masamune!!! Wth guy, half your vision for this? Not much romance going on in his route but he was adorable. Laugh die me when they zoomed in on the rice on his face. His shooting stance quite weird hor. and the bullets like going to drop out. The plot was nice in his route, especially the side characters stories and their actions.

Sasazuka was my least favourite route so far, and I think it's going to stay that way cos the last route is Yanagi's and it's the truth route which is usually fulfilling. Sasazuka is such a kudere and I was not impressed with how he treated the heroine like a pet. Not cute by my standards. The first hug also came out of nowhere. The last scene at this particular sentence made me smug cos he finally felt a little dumb LOL I started to appreciate the ending song properly only during his route. It's a very nostalgic tune. His various sad ends were quite sad and real though.. especially the one where he gave the X day message

I put the CGs together but I must have a separate para for Shiraishi. I was expecting good stuff from his route, from my fb friends' reaction to him. Character design wise, he's alright, better than Sasazuka only though lol. Sly and unpredictable but he changes and becomes a sweet heart. This CG felt like the last happy moment before everything went downhill. That wasn't the sad part. Ironically the sad part came from the happy end.... I cried and cried after she woke up, cried throughout the ending song (cos I have feels for the song already) and even more during the post credit scenes. And continued crying during the short story T______T That is not a happy ending please.

On the last route.. very bu sher de to finish again.. same as norn9 last time. But i've been going out often and feel so tired after work that I dont play much. After I get in bed i'll just play until I can't process words anymore and switch the console off. Was hoping to hear Ichigo from Yanagi but none of that haha..

Shared this 21 inch pizza with friends one weekend, and went to bed0k 85 for lots of food the other weekend. YUM

Hi everybody, long time no update. I've been meaning to, but never switch on my laptop much.

Went to gardens by the bay last saturday to help out for a shoot and shun bian walk walk. The orchids are beautiful and so vibrant

  

Been chionging period cube cos I bought a new game hehe saw a friend playing it early in august and I knew it was coming to shops already. Last wednesday when walking around, I specially went to TOG and when I saw it on the shelf I gave a small scream and took it immediately, in case someone else comes and takes it while i'm in shock hahaha.

Anyways I've not been posting much about period cube cos I haven't been playing consistently. The characters unfortunately didnt appeal to me much.. Astrum-- nah, Hiroya-- ok ok but very average plot. Libera-- bleh and his plot was bleh too T_T I find him the weakest link in the game. 

Character design wise, Zain of course got my attention he's so dainty and pretty. Plot wise though... urgh. I was all ready to get into his story and be swept off my feet T__T whyyyyy

Radius's route had the best start, though it was another typical route, still enjoyable.

Shiki's route held the true end.... and explained the motives. It was kinda disturbing but putting the disturbing things aside, I was quite taken with him in the end and grew to like his voice along with the character design. Glad I ended the game on this note. The music was good, I enjoyed it better than code realise and hakuouki lol. Norn9 is still my favourite so far.

I immediately started on collar X malice woohoo!! I've also stopped Amnesia for the time being, cos I haven't been on the laptop alot. It's still on my mind and I love that feeling of having games waiting to be played. Given the kind of games I go for, it's just like reading a book, only you get to make your choices and explore different endings.  

Holiday is over.. back to work tmr! 

Another week flew by

Met up with teh YYYs on good friday for a long K session and we had yoguru featuring yz's $10 in mass yogurt on the right hahaha

 

I reluctantly agreed to be the vice president of the guild to help out with administrative stuff like opening the boss battle and purchasing of boosts when the head forget or isn't awake yet. I thought it would lessen the fun of the game with this additional job but so far still ok, and I kept stressing to my friends that it's purely administrative. Hope no politics come with this.  

Finished masamune's route and it was disappointing.. I find certain endings, even for the other guys, where they escape from the ship without meeting Aion to be rushed and not satisfying. Masamune seemed like the dependable and sensible type and obviously he would have a hidden side.. Unfortunately the contrast just wasn't there and it's not developed enough. Did not make me go kyaa

Ron....... his route was quite special and had a dark choice affection. Sugita's voice was unexpectedly nice, I was expecting to hear Gin san, which I still did, but totally different feels. The happy end still had a tinge of uncertainty. Nanami seemed to fall in love with him very suddenly, over a single sentence he said which touched her. I just feel that they were looking to each other for release and it was a matter of convenience and dependence. I didn't get to see Ron's face much throughout the whole route ahahaha. I chose those 2 screenshots cos of nanami's -_- expression at Ron's statement haha

  

I really love yoogane... second time eating it and it was with the bf this time. The chilli killed me even though I already asked for less spice. My ulcer wasn't helping either T_T the bf said I looked like I was suffering but noooooo I really like it, just that it was so spicy and my ulcer very pain. He perspired like mad while eating and kept reaching for the tissue to wipe his sweat... Guess he will not be agreeing to eat this again T_____________T Im sad

Another long week

My shoulders are aching like crap now............ They always do when I cos Cater. Did a little analysis and I think it's because the jacket is too tight. 

I doubt it's Cater's bag or shoulder amour because those are light. The shoulder amour may be really restrictive and prone to falling off but not possible that they do so much damage to my shoulder muscles. Grrrr -shakes fists at jacket- I'm starting to dislike the wig too.. Will fully remove all the styling and re-style. Might be joining another group as Cater, and then I'll finally be able to sell off the costume. People please buy please. 

Ohoho a team mate (someone we know from our ny days actually hehe) asked if he could marry my legs LOL then he kept flirting and patting my head throughout the day even after we dressed down. To the extent of offering to carry me home and poking me during the car ride. If I had enough energy I would have jumped and hit him out of reflex but I was too tired I barely flinched at the pokes. If you threw a fish at me at that time maybe I would not freak out. But I will remember and take revenge next time.   

So earlier this week I was playing starry sky After Winter and finished Hayato's (Virgo) route. I got a bad end at first. WTH why did they bring back the bad ends. Then I moved on to my Kazuki kaichou muack muack love his voice so much. Kazuki is such a fun guy, if I forgot how much I loved him during the first game, just 10 minutes into his route here totally reminded me again ^_^

Also collected my Ranka wig. Adding cosplans like eating potato only =_= The wig is so adorable ahhhhhhh I really love it, it's so cute XD 

My face looked okay lah, I just mosaic to troll the bf who wanted a picture.

Performed with the sax quartet at the matric fair equivalent and I was thrilled to see a LINE booth with a lucky draw!!! Immediately went to spin after my performance without putting down my instrument hahaha. Got the third prize

Met up with Fausty today and we spoke so much XDXD

Kinda got upset this week because I felt that promises were not kept. I'm a person who's easily disappointed and I guess I took to heart what he said he would do and it just hit me quite hard when some things happened and the promise was not fulfilled. Not the first time le actually -shakes head-

I thought about the issue for half an hour and felt better, but I still told him that I was upset and that I wanted to talk to him face to face about it. Regretted it almost immediately because we weren't meeting till next week and he was in the middle of lecture. Felt so bad for making him worry.

It was a eureka moment when I saw this on tumblr the next day :)

I don't know my love language nor his, but I think we're probably different.

Post exam shopping

Finished my last paper of the sem this afternoon at 3pm :) shared a cosmetic sales post on fb asking if anyone was interested to go with me and Kai was also interested wheeee she contacted me through various channels, worried that I had left without her when I was only not replying because I was having my exam hahaha~~ so off we went to the ulu office at red hill ahaha it's really hard to locate the office, fortunately I've been there once so it wasn't as confusing this time.

This post is going to be me fangirling over my purchase okies hahaha now u all will see how crazy I am :( my other passion after anime manga cosplay and seiyuu

So I got another blush... Help.. That makes 3 of them now. But I love them all!!! I really love my blushes. The first one is from étude house which is shimmery, then I bought the non shimmer eyemazing one last year from the same office sale and finally I picked up this cream mousse formula today because I've been interested in mousse texture cosmetic after buying the maybelline mousse foundation recently. Anyways the colour looks nice on my hand and it blends easily.

Slightly shimmery and has a faint fragrance. I have doubts about how long it will last without rubbing off but we'll see this December after I use it during eoy :Db the packaging is really cute and compact, I'm happy with it!

Next I bought the jewelove lashes no.1 while kai bought no.7. We exchanged a pair afterwards ^_^ can't wait to try them during eoy along with my new eyelash glue! Finally spent the money and bought a respectable tube of glue which I hope will last me long long and work well.

Spent $25 in all~ This also reminds me that I have yet to try on the eyemazing lashes I won last time X____X really paiseh cos I chose to use another pair for Bubbles. I've only been doing male characters after that and they had no need for such pretty long eyelashes.. Will see how and definitely use them soon.

Kinda stopped talking about anime and my games but rest assured (lol) I'm still watching hxh, uchuu kyoudai every week. For this season I'm watching nagi no asakura which has a lovely ending song, ace of diamond which is my baseball fix, samurai flamenco which also has a lovely ending song and kuroko no basket 2. Ohh ya diabolik lovers too!! I may want to take up log horizon and Kyoukai no kanata but no time sia.

Games wise.. I'm currently playing the wand of fortune on my beloved psp and on my third route featuring noel. The first 2 routes were sweet but the plot was considerably weaker out of the games I've played-- nothing touching or extremely romantic to make me fangirly. Halted my PC games because I have too much to do on my laptop, no time for games there lololol

This wraps up my end of exam post! I'm starting all my serious experiments at lab tomorrow..... A little sian but no choice lah. Hope I'll get good results and that nothing goes wrong :))) meet up soon yyyyys!!

Game rants :D

I finally understand a bit of how my prof feels when another group beats him to and publishes a paper that he too, has been working on.

Only in my case it's referring to cosplay. A few days ago I was looking at photos of Kamigami no Asobi on facebook and telling myself that I should take on this series. Today I realised that the costumes and props my NTU friend has been preparing for STGCC this weekend was for her Kamigami no asobi group T__________T just feeling like I've not been invited to a party LOL no lah, I'm not close to them and am always too shy to join in when they talk about seiyuu so they probably don't know I'm a fellow fan.

At least I have my Diabolik Lovers which I'm so happy with :') it may not be a very good cosplay but every thing feels really different when you're doing a series you fangirl over and love. I can imagine how delighted I'll be when I finally get to cosplay Aoba. Speaking of which........... my Aoba's not going to come to life unless I do something about it. All I have is the wig right now -pats back- I promise I'll get him out next year.

Also playing DRAMAtical Murder: Reconnect which is the fandisc after the initial game... I find it hard to finish the routes.. The H scenes are too much for me to handle X_X I mean I loved the game and the characters but urgh it was tough clicking through the H parts. Just give me my happy ending and a little bit more story and I'll be satisfied. I've finished Clear and moved onto Mink because curiosity got better of me. Will definitely finish everything lah, because of the voice actors as well :)) The mini game is really cute though!! XD Lovely game on the whole   

My wallpaper has changed from Noiz to the Ken ga Kimi guys. Each guy has his own wallpaper but I chose the group one. They look so lovely:

Even my mum thought it looks pretty and agreed to change her laptop wallpaper to that sweet guy on the extreme left. Wow she actually picked one of them XD 

More on my PSP, previously mentioned that I finished Hakuouki. Started on Last Escort while I was almost done with Hakuouki and seriouslyyyyyy Last Escort is impossible to complete without consulting a walkthrough. I thought I was going well with Rei (voiced by youkyan and so I went after him first) but one day in game I received a call from him saying that he had quit his job at the club and will be going overseas. Game over O_o motivation hit a new low and even when I followed the walkthrough I had to replay a few more times before I finally got his good end. 

I picked my next host using a number generator and got the Shota.. With the help of the walkthrough I managed to get all his CGs except for one but that's enough thankyou hahaha.

Then I went after Hiragi aka the sexy voice club manager who's also a host and a huge pervert LOL it was a very entertaining route and suwabe's voice ^/////^ Left with 3.5 more characters but decided to take a break lol it's really tiring

DC girls Symphony was another game I got my hands on and in contrast it's a breeze to get through I'm relieved :)) Went after Kujou sensei because he's voiced by Hirarin. Too bad he's the brother (though not related by blood) so that felt strange. Unspectacular route anyways and the ending was mehhhh. Next up was the gentle twin Kohei and I enjoyed the front part of his route very much, it's the sweet school romance I would have liked to experience myself LOL but the later half was ridiculous O_o The rest of the routes were nothing special. I'm just starting Ryohei's route, since he's the main guy I'm raising my expectations -skeptical look- Saving the strange cat boy route for last haha heard that it's going to be a tear jerker -skeptical look again-

I also managed to get HxH Wonder Adventures to work on my PSP and OMG it's so hard T____T I really tried but i'm stuck at the first stage of the hunter exam with the half beast mystical people. It took me a couple of hours of on off playing to find the swamp master thingy and defeat it to get out of whale island. This is really not easy. Will save this game for when I have lots of time and brain juice to spare lol!

End of wordy post. Journal club presentation this friday and I'm excited + nervous! My mutations are working better now :))b will start on cell work soon

Thoughts on Hakuouki Demon of the Fleeting Blossom

Hunter X Hunter episodes make me feel so depressed nowadays. I'm still looking forward to a new episode every Sunday but I always clench my fists while watching because urghhh it's too upsetting X__X 

For this season I'm also watching Free!, Gin no saji, Watamote-- short for watashi ga motenai no dou kangaete mo omaera ga warui. That was a total mouthful hahaha! That's about it! Nope i'm not watching shingeki no kyojin because I've read the manga and totally lost interest in the anime as a result. Of course Uchuu kyoudai is still on my list, I watch a new episode every saturday without fail :)

Let me gush a little about Free! It's fan service for the ladies but seriously the guys are too adorable. Fan service done right :') I appreciate it very muchy.  

I've finished Hakuouki demon of the fleeting blossom on the PSP and :))))))bbb it's a good first game. A little heavy on the history and content side and less romance than I expected but oh man I had so much feels after finishing each route. Favourite guy goes to Harada because he was the most romantic but Hijikata and Okita both made me so emotional during and at the end of their routes ;__; 

Trying not to spoil too much but I had a serious case of goosebumps when the name Hakuouki was spoken in the game-- this happened in Hijikata's route. Darn it Hijikata, you made me so worried throughout 

your route. He's such a gruff person which made the scenes where he smiles and appreciates Chiziru all the more precious. KUDOS TO MIKI SHIN for putting in so much effort into voicing Hijikata LOL so gruff and growly, I tried to speak that way and ran out of breath just after 2 words lol??! Bittersweet ending. I mean they're together and all but description never fails to remind that death is approaching and may come suddenly so there's no way I can be 100% shiawase

Okita's route was the only one which made me cry, during the happy end. The tears just flowed out so naturally OwO I was surprised when I felt them on my cheeks. Welll.... great job because I wasn't super taken with Okita, pretty neutral throughout his route and I was paying more attention to Morikubo's voice and admiring how musical he sounded. Again, the end hinted strongly of the uncertain future and how they would treasure every moment of it and express their love for each other clearly. I thought Okita died when he only fell asleep T____T that was the exact intention of the game writers I tell you urgh don't play with my heart please...

Saitou was the first guy I went after and I felt that he was too indifferent and in his own world.. Quite unwilling to admit his love for Chizuru too and that kinda turned me off XD  

Harada was my second guy and well.. you know how I feel towards him XD majority of the romance in the entire game was put into his route and he was the only one who has a happy end with no looming consequences. Ohh he's also the only guy in the game who got to bed Chizuru. Nothing explicit but yeaaa it was very clearly implied XD This is the route to go for if you're aiming for more romance and a normal life in the game lol

Heisuke was normal... His voice kinda hurt my ears so I never really got into his story. Pity because I like his character design.

Kazama, who's also hanging off the side of my psp as an accessory, was so-so as well. His route was too short to be compared to the rest so yea. What I found really funny about the bad guys was that they have this routine of leaving at the slightest disturbance in the middle of the fight with your Shinsengumi guy, or claim that their mission here is done so they'll leave for today, leaving the Shinsengumi guy fuming and swearing to become stronger to defeat them in the future hahaha it became predictable after the first route. Main takeaway-- Kazama = sexy TsudaKen voice XD

So overall-- Hijikata, Harada, Okita, Saitou=Heisuke. The bgm at the start screen and the bgm for some of the happy ends (aka the major key version of the prev song) were my favourite. Rest of the music had some really strange instrumentation but still acceptable tune wise.

School starts tomorrow T_____________________________T bye bye life

Sanosuke~~

I've finished sanosuke's route and it was... Dreamy :)) was of course attracted to yusa's voice ohoho. Initially I thought he was the flirty guy which every otome game is bound to have but he's better than that ^_^

This really surprised me. I would have thought all the guys of shinsengumi were passionate about fighting to serve their respective leaders, shogun or not but sanosuke just wants to settle down. My poor baby

The second confession scene was really good, he made it clear that he would choose to stay with Chizuru over fighting alongside his best buddy Nakamura.. Brought a tear to my eye :')

And.... The final CG where they have a baby boy hahaha

More dialovers work in progress

This coming saturday, cosmo youth parade, though the outdoor parade's been cancelled due to the haze lolol

I'm packed to the brim this coming week-- relatives from malaysia are coming. Super happy and excited that they're finally making a trip to here but why oh why must it be when I'm tied down all day with lab and have so many cosplay events approaching?!

Planning to ask for a day off to bring them around. Will thicken my skin and ask tomorrow. I believe if I have the courage to ask, I will be given the approval to leave. Must prepare for the worst though.. so that my mood won't deteriorate too much if I get a negative answer.

I wanted a nude red closer to pink, this is too dark.. Also lesson learnt: don't get lens with black rims when cosing guys.

Freshly ripped shirt, at sunday 10pm. Because it occurred to me that my parents and relatives won't react well to me cutting up the shirt when they're around.

This was cut up a few days ago. I also covered up the glittery reindeer at the left side. Used marker to colour it at first, but that marker turned out to be brown which was super obvious when it dried. The black marker I used next didn't do much so I had to stick on black cloth (courtesy of the parts I cut out)

Key was assembled and spray painted ages ago. I used a ring fastener, a piece of wire and a.... I think it's a capacitor to make this thingy. Should have gone with a smaller ring but this will do for now~

  

Vampy teeth! Don't have the glue so can't try it on. Got this for fun lah.. Actually Ayato's the only one with the pointy teeth showing but the team has decided to just get the teeth HAHA fun over accuracy.

Updates on life: I refuse to touch anything to do with lab when I'm home, I don't even take my bag and laptop into my room, just leave them on the sofa. Then I either greet my mates on Be My Princess, My Sweet Bodyguard or surf tumblr. Yes guys I'm still playing my princess and bodyguard game. Though I greet less often now. 

I've also been diligently playing Hakuouki. Enjoying it so far :) 

Did not use a walkthrough and my first few choices led me to Saito Hajime so I decided to go for him. Little did I know........ Harada Sanosuke eventually stole my heart. DARN IT I wasn't expecting myself to fall for this guy. Maybe it's his voice.. Yusa sounds really good here, not the least bit creepy or sly. 

But I'm still following through with Saito no matter what. I just sniff a little whenever Sanosuke comes up. No doubts about who I'll be going after next. 

Does this mean he's the kind of guy who will bring his beloved flowers and stuff? :D This is all the way back in the edo period tho XD so cute

I can look like a guy, me!

Got my hands on Subaru's wig and tried it on. The styling is so pretty! I was very afraid that it would look terrible on me but ahaha not bad :Db hope it will look equally cool next week during the event. I PROMISE TO LOOK HANDSOME :D

Yes guys it's next Saturday.. I'm feeling the urgency already. Still need to cut up the clothes, dye the pants and finish up the necklace. 

Then the immediate next week is cosfest. Can I die already omg. help

Lab is ok so far, I made mistakes on the first day and was really confused for most parts. Pipettes urgh wanted to add 200ul but ended up adding 2ml and wondered why the tube was overflowing. Mistook 30 minutes as 30 seconds. 

Even my mentor commented that I was 'out of it' :(((

Didn't do much on day 2 and I was totally nodding off in front of my laptop. Tomorrow I'm going to do a midi prep whee

Then Mizuki's final chapter of the epilogue ended with some sexy kisses. It was a little disappointing tbh, no action!! If you get what I mean. Kaiji got his, so did Daichi. Sora did not but I forgive that guy for everything hopelessly biased ahem Well at least Mizuki has this memorable epilogue LOLOLOL I've just selected Goto today, hope it'll be good!

Sorry for the sacarsm overload, I have never laughed so hard throughout all 10 chapters before.. Mizuki will not be forgotten soon
