End of the year again

Hi all! Long time no blog as you all know some things happened but it's kinda resolved for now so I'm back~

Afa came and ended, it was quite an effortless 2 days, most of the work was done on the hair.

I quite like my make up for both days because got contrast across the 2 days ^_^ Went for my fave droopy eyes on day 2 (the blond nurse Eliza from shaman king) Could have been more obvious haha but even I myself felt that I looked different in photos, in a good way

Took a photo with my babies in suits. My face is so round ahahaha don't trust the cosplay photos you see of me, I can hide a lot of things with the wig.

My watch broke and I got a new watch-- baby G! All my watches have been pink since I graduated from JC.

Sold a costume this morning-- it deserves special mention because I have worn this costume the most number of times, among all my coses. Bye bye mogyutto... I am still waiting for my video dance in this costume to be released, probably by V day next year.

I'm still on lineplay and decorated my house xmas style! Dressed according to the festive also XD she's so sweet

Vanille last sunday success!!! I felt 100000X better compared to duruig the event last year. Wasn't exhausted or stressed from rushing the costume and wearing a fitting bra. Also knew how to wear the costume better (haha what rubbish, I made the costume; I should already know it inside out) but yea~~~~ Knew how to properly instruct my friend to help me wear it. So glad it went well. The photos are stunning..... Can't wait to show you all~ 

Vanille is my toughest character so far, I'm really glad the shoot went well despite being chased by the security, the rain and ending later than planned X_X I was able to do her default poses and get so many awesome shots with the rest of the team. 

It might sound trivial but I tested out my new Canmake setting powder during this shoot and I could feel the effects like whoa.. So easy to remove oil, touch up and my makeup didn't run much. It's amazing. I know that's what setting powders are for but I've never had a portable one to bring to shoots so I've been missing out on so much. Definitely using powders from here on.

Brought this to office as a back pillow but I end up kiaping it between my stomach and my table while doing work. It's literally a front pillow LOL

2 weeks worth of posts

Can you spot the handphone? Haha the pre cosfest rush, honestly not as bad as previous events because it didn't involve much cloth. I was just super worried that the wings wouldn't stick to the pole on the actual day. They did in the end, but the stands were still quite unstable. We made do with it XD

My poor partner was single handedly sewing both our costumes right till day 1 of the event, which she gave up cosing for T_____T I owe her many many meals. I slept so badly on saturday at the chalet. A group of them were drinking and being so noisy. I went to bed earlier but 4 ppl in a bed and I was stuck in the middle... OMG I think i barely slept 3 hours that whole night, woke up so many times with my legs aching cos I couldn't turn and it was so squeezy and hot.

It was a miracle I was able to look the way I did the next day.

I didn't take any photos at all on day 1 because I was happy not to. Was cosing my shalnark hubby and I was already super happy to have ppl come up for a selfie every now and then. Yay for HxH fans!!! 

I've only started playing a few weeks ago and I'm already able to look like this. Really well trained from the previous games hahaha

I bought this during cosfest and I am very happy with this strap, been brining it to work and admiring it.

Made an onigiri and tutu kuey out of the bubble jumping clay which was a wrong buy haha

bla bleh bla

Collection complete! Had to queue for almost my entire lunch break to get my meal and toy. Luckily office culture is to eat as long as you want provided you can finish work. Dabaoed back and ate at table. It's really windy nowadays. My fringe is always messy when walking outside sigh

Had turkish food dinner with the office orientation peeps on friday. Was in really bad condition the whole of last week because the sunburn sapped all my self confidence and forced me to make bad wardrobe choices in order to cover my shoulders and legs. Was also tired like nobody's business. The peeling's still happening now but much better and not itchy anymore. It's still red at the shoulders and the ugly tan is still there.....................................

On saturday I had gekkan shoot and it was so much fun to derp around!! I honestly think I look hideous cosing guys, especially as those who are not wearing many layers or baggy clothes. Too scrawny already. I can't stand it. 

I also think I've forgotten how cosplay characters who don't smile and look pretty all the time. I looked ugly with my neutral face and smiling was out of character.. So spent the whole day making weird faces. Which resulted in hilarious shots XD

Sunday's shoot was mogyutto which is my least favourite Rin costume but ironically my most cosed version. I had a nice lunch with the bf and he sked for the shoot. My wig styling was horrible that day because I thought I was late and rushed with the dressing up. Glued the sides of the wig to my face too early and couldn't make adjustments.. Haha went along with it because I already have a ton of solos in that costume and I just wanted to help complete the group and small group shots.

No concrete plans for vday leh.. I think we're going to buy cloth though. Last year also.. my date asked me out super late, in a round about manner though we both knew what he was getting at. This year.. a few weeks ago when I wanted to buy cloth, the bf mentioned specifically that he wanted to buy cloth with me this coming saturday. I didn't realise it's the 14th back then.. I didn't prepare anything X_X maybe will get chocolates? Our anniversary also coming... Need to get present one ah?

Guys i'm super sunburnt. My shoulders and back T__________T It's really bad. My bra strap hurts, my bag strap hurts. It's starting to itch. But the worst thing is they're so dark omg. 

Sunplay spf130 works really really well. I applied them on my arms and spread up to just below my shoulders. And tada that's where the sunburns start. Can even see my finger marks where the sunblock was spread until. No guys were allowed at the shoot. I was super self conscious at first but after the shoot I was just walking around the toilet in the bikini without the overalls. It's not an easy costume for me.. To show so much of the body and I don't think I'll do it again. 

Even if I want to do another revealing cos also cannot le because of the ugly tan..... Cannot wear clothes that show the back or shoulders for the next 5 years I think T__________T I'm very regretful. Mum kept scolding me too, for getting such a bad burn. She says it looks like I have 2 slabs of shit on my shoulders. I hope the photos are worth sacrificing my hard accumulated 'fairness' for hahaha no lah we all had fun, and everyone suffered together.

The next day we had cheong sam shoot. I spammed sun block again and had to wear stockings because the string marks were visible T__T my day didn't start off well.. Because my black court shoes gave up on me on the way to the mrt

Walked 2 steps and the same happened to the other side FML. Hobbled to the mrt without the heel part and thought all was okay. Then the front of both sides opened up beautifully to show my stocking toes. Haiz got a pair of $2.90 rainbow slippers from Japan home and another friend brought a pair of heels for me. Towards the end of the shoot the sole of my borrowed show also came off hahaha maktub

Cheong sam shoot was so colourful and pretty. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos! Here's a sneak preview. The bf says I look so awkward but I like this photo so here it is.

Guess what I saw on day 1 of the event

Bought almost all the hxh buttons I saw. It's not alot but still I don't have space to hang them OTL throw to office.

On day 2, I was soloing and following the bf's team when I saw Shizuku... Was spazzing when I spotted the rest of the team one by one walking behind her. Asgdhfkekcnskd it was a one way path and the railing separated us so I totally ran ahead and completed the round and stalked them for about half an hour, waiting for the full team to assemble wahahaha

               

Old version vs new version!! I initially wanted to cos shalnark on day 2 as well but decided against it because I felt it was a wee bit too plain. Hahahaha it would have been so cute if both Shalnarks met though XDXD

Sorry for my disturbing leg. Long story short.. We all forgot our room card which gives access to the lifts and had to climb the stairs. Me, being in my primary school mode at the best of time, fell at the last flight.......... Now my knee feels super tight, hard to bend. Luckily it was at the night of the last event day.. Only the shopping left haha.

Some things happened during the trip which involved me crying -__- but I feel like we understand each other better now. I'm very happy he doesn't slurp his noodles, and doesn't snore when sleeping on the bus. The bus trip from singapore to KL was super long because we were caught in almost every jam along the way. 10 hour ride omg..... the whole friday was gone when we could have reached around 2pm. Trip back to Singapore was much smoother, reached home at around 1+am.

With my new toy, bought him on new year day! he has a permanent frown ahaha fierce I like.

I brought him to the office too ^^ moved to my proper seat cos my senior has officially transferred out. Time to bring all my figurines and display them. Work is okay! I haven't dealt with any angry people yet but the first time will come soon I guess hahaha

One week to Xmas holidays

First week of work went by fast! I've been shadowing my colleague and reading FAQs, minutes of past meetings blablabla. Waiting to get my laptop and computers..... That's when the real work starts XD my colleagues are nice and my higher ups are nice too~~~ The office ppl like to ask "is this your first job?" then "Oh you're a fresh grad!" then proceed to ask what I did during my break from graduation till now. It's a small world, I'm actually replacing a wsband senior. My very first lab mate also whatssaped me on my first day cos he recognized my name in the email. Too bad we're at based at different office locations XD

Had my first video shoot and it was a great experience! We wrapped up around 4+pm. Not sure what time the filming started but we were very efficient woohoo~ the videographer was very nice too. I super love the decorations at the back XD our helpers should go become interior designers hahaha so thankful to every single one of them. The 80% completed video draft was already released to us on the night itself -kowtows to the enthusiastic videographer- it looks amazing!! I can't stop watching it and can't wait to see the final version ^___^

3 months of dance pracs and we finally made it!! Sniff sniff I feel so proud of the group. Now all that's left is to attend an event together. 

Onward to the next cos HAHA never ending X__X what am I doing with my life..... The following costumes are all for Rin as well-- my next year is going to be full of her. It's partly because she's the bf's fave character in Love Live. I personally also like her quite a abit after the main character :3 but I wouldn't have readily agreed to so many of the coses without the bf's 'encouragement' lolol

She like maid alot issit hahaha! See you all in this on sunday at down town east. I wasn't interested in this version at first because I think it looks like a flag. I still do but I'm now willing to call it a pretty flag ohoho. Costume fits me well, I'll need to iron it properly. And do the jagged thingy for the socks. And find a pair of suitable shoes. And find a way to stick on the blond tuft of hair on one side haha I very conveniently  kept a tuft after trimming my pokemon psyduck wig.  

I wonder if I will regret the bikini version T___T Show legs arms stomach I okay.. but this..... I said no more boobs revealing costumes but we shall see how it turns out T___________T It's not very revealing lah but I'm still quite scared.
