Guess what I saw on day 1 of the event

Bought almost all the hxh buttons I saw. It's not alot but still I don't have space to hang them OTL throw to office.

On day 2, I was soloing and following the bf's team when I saw Shizuku... Was spazzing when I spotted the rest of the team one by one walking behind her. Asgdhfkekcnskd it was a one way path and the railing separated us so I totally ran ahead and completed the round and stalked them for about half an hour, waiting for the full team to assemble wahahaha

               

Old version vs new version!! I initially wanted to cos shalnark on day 2 as well but decided against it because I felt it was a wee bit too plain. Hahahaha it would have been so cute if both Shalnarks met though XDXD

Sorry for my disturbing leg. Long story short.. We all forgot our room card which gives access to the lifts and had to climb the stairs. Me, being in my primary school mode at the best of time, fell at the last flight.......... Now my knee feels super tight, hard to bend. Luckily it was at the night of the last event day.. Only the shopping left haha.

Some things happened during the trip which involved me crying -__- but I feel like we understand each other better now. I'm very happy he doesn't slurp his noodles, and doesn't snore when sleeping on the bus. The bus trip from singapore to KL was super long because we were caught in almost every jam along the way. 10 hour ride omg..... the whole friday was gone when we could have reached around 2pm. Trip back to Singapore was much smoother, reached home at around 1+am.

With my new toy, bought him on new year day! he has a permanent frown ahaha fierce I like.

I brought him to the office too ^^ moved to my proper seat cos my senior has officially transferred out. Time to bring all my figurines and display them. Work is okay! I haven't dealt with any angry people yet but the first time will come soon I guess hahaha

Birthday

I had a good birthday ^__^ so happy to read and reply the birthday wishes. XD Received my first figurines ever from the bf and they're lovely~

My iphone6 arrived today guys!! A gift from my 小舅 cos I was supposed to order the 6+ for him and he made a gift of the 6 to me for the trouble. Unfortunately many things happened and now he's just pre-ordering in malaysia himself. I still get the phone though XD -thick skin- It actually got delivered yesterday but I was out to buy dinner ahaha 

Had a saxophone gig (2 x 20mins) on thursday and it was badddddd. I felt so mistreated. Dinner was supposed to be dabaoed by the hirers and we had 1+ hour in between our performances to eat. But the lady, after repeated pestering, told us that they had planed for us to sit at the table and have the food served together with the guests. We checked the menu and found out that dinner would be served at 815pm, 5 minutes before our next 20 min performance. Please, we're not being paid by the hour and it's not early either, I'm not going to stay back after the performance just to eat the last 2 courses of the dinner. And that's provided things don't drag (which they did -_-) I got home after 10 with aching arms and feeling super annoyed and hungry.

The snow halation costume is here! Our group has been diligently practising the dance and we'll be filming the video and doing a photoshoot soon. 

The jacket is sadly too big and I need to do some pinning. Wig is untrimmed also :( aish Was hoping that it'll come nicely trimmed. 

Went for another cosplay job at gardens by the bay on saturday then J and I rushed off immediately to JB for an event. My first overseas event!! It's a huge pity the bf couldn't join in due to some family matters. JB really has a different feel from singapore, so many run down places for shoots!! 

Photo by Maze, please don't re-upload without my permission! The sky got dark really quickly and we had, for dinner, awesome mexican european food at the mall near the customs. It's really fantastic eating in malaysia, can order so much and not go broke.

I was stuck at the malaysia customs really long both ways and when I was returning to singapore, they did a bag 'xray' scan thingy where as expected, my gun was noticed and underwent closer inspections. 

Hahaha I'm glad they didn't make a huge fuss over it like "OMG why is there this gun in her bag, SEARCH HER" XD The lady just very calmly pointed at my bag and I took out the gun (whose nozzle broke and was hanging off in a really sad manner) to show the guy. He politely asked me to wait and called for another guy to come take a look. The second guy glanced briefly at the gun while I explained that it was a prop and made up of plastic and foam. Then he waved us ahead. Really chill.

Sunday I helped out for a shoot where the bf did this bald old man with a mustache. Kept laughing while doing his make up hahahahaha

This morning I went for another interview and things look good! -_- My mum isn't happy when I told her the job description. She's getting irritating nowadays when she keeps telling me to take up a lab job. Hello you think your daughter life science very smart, can do research arh, and I dread the lab environment now, just thinking about bacterial cultures make me very sian.

Sometimes I look back on the past few months since graduation and feel very thankful that I'm able to pick up my saxophone again. And even be making money from both my hobbies :') It's not sustainable in the long term but I think it's been an amazing few months and I'm so happy and proud.

School life is ending soon

I mostly stayed at home like a good girl and studied this week.

Human nutrition module was alright, I finished the paper early but decided to stay on.. until I put my head down and fell asleep for a good 10 minutes OTL just glad I didn't pass out for 30 minutes (my usual nap time when sleeping on a desk) I felt really bad for being rude, so I left about 20 minutes before the end of the paper. First time falling asleep during a paper I can't believe it.

Oncogenes was alright too! I'm really happy to have chosen this module. 8 different pathways and student presentations for each pathway. 4 of the pathways were covered before recess week and tested. The remaining 4 were tested during the examination week. That means I only had 4 sets of notes to study wahahaha even if there were 8, the content is really quite little compared to the other life sciences modules I've taken all these years! The pathways are made quite simple too, nothing complex about them ^___^ I love this module. No matter what my final grade is, oncogenes didn't give me much stress during the already stressful last semester and I'm glad I took it.

Drug and society finals coming up next.. I really love this module as well, it's a pity I only attended some of the lectures in the first half of the sem, skipped the rest because I was too busy and the lectures were webcasted. I finished the remaining webcasts over the week and every single lecture was so interesting. I'm full of nothing but praises for this module hahaha I know I won't do very well though, cos scored below average for the first CA and my assignment is as good as gone because I forgot to submit my assignment on IVLE and only uploaded my video through the software. Only realised it when the lecturer emailed me last wednesday asking me to confirm that I failed to submit the assignment. She said over the email that I will be penalised for the very late submission T______T entirely my fault I know, for not being careful. 

I remember clearly what happened..... In the midst of rushing thesis and experiments, I took out a few hours to record the stuff for the presentation and did quite a few takes. I uploaded the file onto IVLE but was not happy with it and did another take. Submitted the new take through the software and deleted the file from ivle. BUT I FORGOT TO UPLOAD THE NEW FILE. Haiz entirely my fault. I can't blame anyone. The lecturer also reminded to submit via IVLE during lecture but I hadn't watched the webcasts then so no way I could have known. Also conveniently missed the reminder announcement on IVLE. Can I blame FYP for this ahaha nope. I was just careless and forgetful oh well

I shared this on fb but forgot to mention here, HUNTER X HUNTER MANGA IS RESUMING HEY HEY HEY HEY~~~~~ In june!!!!! We'll see more of Netero's son!!!!!! We survived another hiatus!!!!! GUYS!!!

The anime's awesome and I'm so happy! Speaking of the anime.... oh man I get so emotional every week, I lose my appetite, I need to clutch at something while watching, I dread watching it but I need to watch it... It's crazy. Knowing what happens just makes it worse. I couldn't bear to see some scenes animated and it was so dreadful seeing some parts happen again, animated and voiced.

Just glad that he's always willing to listen to my rants and bear with my super emotional reactions week after week. I'll be like "I feel nauseous" - insert dramatic crying /huddled against wall stickers- "I don't want to watch next week's episode" X100 and he'll just 'cry' along and tell me to watch on.

As the days pass, I realise that I know so little about him, and it makes me anxious, because while I'm happy and I can feel that he's happy, everything still seems very floaty and unreal. I'll step up my game after exams oh wait that sounds incorrect We'll sort it out after exams ehehe

Updates~

I've fallen ill :( snacked on too many stroopwaffles from Mel and I woke up with a scratchy throat the next day which became sneezing fits... And now I have a leaky nose and a bit of a sore throat :/ 

Had a really busy week and I was out for dinner every single day, by choice of course but it was still so tiring.. Maybe that's why I fell sick :( I've been going to lab every single day including weekends.. Need a lot of preparations each time before I can start on the actual data generating experiments.. So time consuming haish

I watched hunter x hunter: the last mission movie on Wednesday!!! Managed to get the poster after asking the lady nicely if I could have one after the movie. The deal was 2 movie ticket to 1 poster.. Dunno why they were so kiam siap but my group of 5 ppl received 2 posters lol! I had to 'fight it out' among 2 other friends and I couldn't stand doing it the scissors paper stone way so I just went to ask for another XD fortunately the lady gave me a poster so by default that belongs to me ohohoho ^__^

          

I enjoyed the movie tremendously despite the questionable quality at the start and lame defeat of the bosses lolol so much feels whenever the ending song played in the movie ahhhhh.. It kinda reflects the current plot in the anime, with gon being so rash and worrying killua :X

Bought new shoes! 2 pairs for $36 and I love both pairs very much!! 

                          

So so happy~ :))) threw out my old pair wore the black pair today, it hurt my feet but all will be fine with some plasters! 

I also collected my Yang wig today! The previous wig I got was very pretty but too dense for the character and not curly enough. This one is just right, though I would like it to be thicker and less tangled haha oh wells. The ahoge is so cute!!!! Wore it together with the top which I got from auntie yesterday~

Post exam shopping

Finished my last paper of the sem this afternoon at 3pm :) shared a cosmetic sales post on fb asking if anyone was interested to go with me and Kai was also interested wheeee she contacted me through various channels, worried that I had left without her when I was only not replying because I was having my exam hahaha~~ so off we went to the ulu office at red hill ahaha it's really hard to locate the office, fortunately I've been there once so it wasn't as confusing this time.

This post is going to be me fangirling over my purchase okies hahaha now u all will see how crazy I am :( my other passion after anime manga cosplay and seiyuu

So I got another blush... Help.. That makes 3 of them now. But I love them all!!! I really love my blushes. The first one is from étude house which is shimmery, then I bought the non shimmer eyemazing one last year from the same office sale and finally I picked up this cream mousse formula today because I've been interested in mousse texture cosmetic after buying the maybelline mousse foundation recently. Anyways the colour looks nice on my hand and it blends easily.

Slightly shimmery and has a faint fragrance. I have doubts about how long it will last without rubbing off but we'll see this December after I use it during eoy :Db the packaging is really cute and compact, I'm happy with it!

Next I bought the jewelove lashes no.1 while kai bought no.7. We exchanged a pair afterwards ^_^ can't wait to try them during eoy along with my new eyelash glue! Finally spent the money and bought a respectable tube of glue which I hope will last me long long and work well.

Spent $25 in all~ This also reminds me that I have yet to try on the eyemazing lashes I won last time X____X really paiseh cos I chose to use another pair for Bubbles. I've only been doing male characters after that and they had no need for such pretty long eyelashes.. Will see how and definitely use them soon.

Kinda stopped talking about anime and my games but rest assured (lol) I'm still watching hxh, uchuu kyoudai every week. For this season I'm watching nagi no asakura which has a lovely ending song, ace of diamond which is my baseball fix, samurai flamenco which also has a lovely ending song and kuroko no basket 2. Ohh ya diabolik lovers too!! I may want to take up log horizon and Kyoukai no kanata but no time sia.

Games wise.. I'm currently playing the wand of fortune on my beloved psp and on my third route featuring noel. The first 2 routes were sweet but the plot was considerably weaker out of the games I've played-- nothing touching or extremely romantic to make me fangirly. Halted my PC games because I have too much to do on my laptop, no time for games there lololol

This wraps up my end of exam post! I'm starting all my serious experiments at lab tomorrow..... A little sian but no choice lah. Hope I'll get good results and that nothing goes wrong :))) meet up soon yyyyys!!

AFA 2013

Such a tiring weekend, I felt like I did so much, but can't remember anything clearly... I really need to write all these down or i'm afraid I'll forget more as the days pass.

I'll talk about the cosplay in another post, here's a photo to tide you over LOLOLOL 

Since the event is over I'm finally able to announce my character! Final fantasy Dissidia, as Laguna Loire and that's Zidane beside me ;)

Today I will be recounting all I can remember about sunday's events because I know I'm going to forget bits and pieces if I wait till tuesday to blog. 

PHOTO WITH SUWABE!

It was obviously going to be a tough fight to be within the first 20, from the mini stage experience on saturday which was an uncomfortable experience (elaboration together with the cosplay post next time) 

I set my alarm at 7am and went to sleep at 1am+ but it was a very light sleep.. I think I wasn't used to my new pillow and overall worried about not getting the photo and my test and essays blablabla.. When the alarm finally rang at 7am, I felt dreary.. Just very pessimistic about the whole thing. Luckily my friend was on whatssap and continued a convo we had the day before, which woke me up and got me out of bed, albeit 20 minutes after the alarm rang. 

As I suspected my left eye was swollen again so I didn't bother putting on contacts, just basic make up, did my eye liner and left the house.

When I got to the convention area my heart sank like nobody's business... There the area closest to the doors was filled with close to a hundred (?) people and already closed off. I was in the 4th row of the second freaking half of the queue. GGfmlbbq. Mostly guys though, at least the area where I was at. But all I could think of was that there were definitely more than 20 enthusiastic Suwabe fangirls in front of me and I was never going to make it.

It was exactly 9 when the event helpers allowed the first half people to stand up, and when I finally started moving, I jogged and dodged my way to the front. The guys didn't seem to be in as much of a hurry and were ok with me passing through hahaha. What were they there so early for O_o oh well thanks anyways, for letting me pass without fuss. 

The moment I got into the hall I just started running LOL I had studied the floor plan while waiting and knew where to go. Could have run faster but my bag was kinda in the way and didn't want to seem too crazy X____X yes I held back and just kinda matched the speed of the two utapri cosers who were running as well. I still reached before they did and queued behind two japanese ladies who in a way.. cut my queue. Oh wells I did a rough estimation and figured that I was still within the first 20 so I didn't insist. LUCKILY I WAS NO. 16 muack muack this is my new favourite number :DDD I couldn't bear to look at the people who were told by the staff that they didn't make it :( it must have been terribly disappointing

Finally received the ticket number after 10 minutes of waiting and almost thought I had to stay there the entire time till the actual photo session. Fortunately the animax lady told us that they had to clear the area so we were free to go but needed to be back by 10.30am.

I went to take a photo alone at the animax booth using the HxH background. I think I looked terrible LOL why won't the photographer guy let me do my own head adjustments XD nvm went to the toilet to touch up on my make up after that and walked around the rest of the booths. The one and only merchandise I bought:

Tokyo encounter!! Now I have Sugita and Nakamura on badges :D where should I pin them :DD

The Asia Kawaii Way booth also caught my eye because it was so pink and pretty and full of cosmetics. I kept looking at the nail polishes OWO so pr:etty!!! Wanted to try but there was no one there yet and when the lady was there, she was doing a manicure for another person so I moved on :) will check those out in stores if I see them.

Reported back at the animax booth and we all started hyperventilating, the crowd started forming which ironically blocked suwabe and yurin from view when they arrived. Was peeved that I couldn't see him over all the heards but nevermind, let them off this once because I'll get a photo with Be-sama XD

Took a test shot before the actual session to see if I looked ok. Was too excited hahaha look at my grin.

The actual photo taking happened too quickly before I could register much OwO I handed my bags to the lady who passed them to another lady at the other side of the green screen when I walked to stand between Be-sama and Yurin.

Only he said it in a looong drawn out way which allowed me to enjoy a few more seconds of his live voice right beside my ear LOLOLOL I was like asdfghajsdggasjhgd and since my glasses were off, I couldn't see the camera really well and Suwabe very nicely gestured to the camera lens. It didn't help much, wouldn't have helped much unless he were to cup my face or touch my head and angle my head to look at the lens properly but omy HAHAHAH omg what am I typing.

It was over so soon! I said thank you, bowed and stepped off the green area. I wish I looked at Suwabe more. After waiting forever for the photo to be printed out, I wished I stood closer to the both of them:

Comes in a nice clear plastic sheet :) I'm so attaching another layer of clear plastic over it to draw on decorations before bringing it to lab to put it on top of my desk. 

SEEING KIMURA RYOUHEI AND OUSAKA RYOTA (AND CAMEO BY A CHEEKY FUKUYAMA JUN)

When Jun jun appeared on the screen and all the girls started screaming, it just dawned on me that if my top seiyuu biases came to Singapore, and there's an interaction opportunity on a first come first served basis, I would never stand a chance against the rest of the girls. There are just too many. I just got lucky for Suwabe (and AFA didn't announce the photo taking segment, it was only posted on the Animax page so the awareness wasn't as great)

I also saw Angela, Elisa and Takanori san!! Angela was very funny and lively while talking about 'Boku ja nai' and made the crowd laugh XD Elisa was lovely OTL so pretty and just gave off an air of elegance :) Nothing much needs to be said about TMR and Nana, the crowd (myself included) was already screaming at the mention of their names LOL Nana looked so pretty as well, just like the photos I've seen.

It was a real pity they didn't sing during that meet and greet segmen, not that I was expecting them to but one can always hope yea?? XD

Hello Sunday Night

Time is flying, I'm actually feeling a little depressed about fyp right now. Prof is really nice but I dread seeing him now. The weeks just seem to pass by without me accomplishing much. I'm having trouble getting my last set of mutations in the right vector and this is the most pressing issue. Darn ittt why can't I even do simple cloning stuff. Results aren't coming to me. I'm not getting anywhere.

Had a relaxing weekend, got some revision done for tumour bio and watched anime. I'm on a baseball craze right now after watching Ace of Diamonds. Went on to watch One Outs and I have this urge to re-watch Ookiku Furikabutte again.

The weekend has been cooling but I resisted the urge to take naps. That's it, that's my weekend :')

Thoughts on Hakuouki Demon of the Fleeting Blossom

Hunter X Hunter episodes make me feel so depressed nowadays. I'm still looking forward to a new episode every Sunday but I always clench my fists while watching because urghhh it's too upsetting X__X 

For this season I'm also watching Free!, Gin no saji, Watamote-- short for watashi ga motenai no dou kangaete mo omaera ga warui. That was a total mouthful hahaha! That's about it! Nope i'm not watching shingeki no kyojin because I've read the manga and totally lost interest in the anime as a result. Of course Uchuu kyoudai is still on my list, I watch a new episode every saturday without fail :)

Let me gush a little about Free! It's fan service for the ladies but seriously the guys are too adorable. Fan service done right :') I appreciate it very muchy.  

I've finished Hakuouki demon of the fleeting blossom on the PSP and :))))))bbb it's a good first game. A little heavy on the history and content side and less romance than I expected but oh man I had so much feels after finishing each route. Favourite guy goes to Harada because he was the most romantic but Hijikata and Okita both made me so emotional during and at the end of their routes ;__; 

Trying not to spoil too much but I had a serious case of goosebumps when the name Hakuouki was spoken in the game-- this happened in Hijikata's route. Darn it Hijikata, you made me so worried throughout 

your route. He's such a gruff person which made the scenes where he smiles and appreciates Chiziru all the more precious. KUDOS TO MIKI SHIN for putting in so much effort into voicing Hijikata LOL so gruff and growly, I tried to speak that way and ran out of breath just after 2 words lol??! Bittersweet ending. I mean they're together and all but description never fails to remind that death is approaching and may come suddenly so there's no way I can be 100% shiawase

Okita's route was the only one which made me cry, during the happy end. The tears just flowed out so naturally OwO I was surprised when I felt them on my cheeks. Welll.... great job because I wasn't super taken with Okita, pretty neutral throughout his route and I was paying more attention to Morikubo's voice and admiring how musical he sounded. Again, the end hinted strongly of the uncertain future and how they would treasure every moment of it and express their love for each other clearly. I thought Okita died when he only fell asleep T____T that was the exact intention of the game writers I tell you urgh don't play with my heart please...

Saitou was the first guy I went after and I felt that he was too indifferent and in his own world.. Quite unwilling to admit his love for Chizuru too and that kinda turned me off XD  

Harada was my second guy and well.. you know how I feel towards him XD majority of the romance in the entire game was put into his route and he was the only one who has a happy end with no looming consequences. Ohh he's also the only guy in the game who got to bed Chizuru. Nothing explicit but yeaaa it was very clearly implied XD This is the route to go for if you're aiming for more romance and a normal life in the game lol

Heisuke was normal... His voice kinda hurt my ears so I never really got into his story. Pity because I like his character design.

Kazama, who's also hanging off the side of my psp as an accessory, was so-so as well. His route was too short to be compared to the rest so yea. What I found really funny about the bad guys was that they have this routine of leaving at the slightest disturbance in the middle of the fight with your Shinsengumi guy, or claim that their mission here is done so they'll leave for today, leaving the Shinsengumi guy fuming and swearing to become stronger to defeat them in the future hahaha it became predictable after the first route. Main takeaway-- Kazama = sexy TsudaKen voice XD

So overall-- Hijikata, Harada, Okita, Saitou=Heisuke. The bgm at the start screen and the bgm for some of the happy ends (aka the major key version of the prev song) were my favourite. Rest of the music had some really strange instrumentation but still acceptable tune wise.

School starts tomorrow T_____________________________T bye bye life

CCS photoshoot

Hello people~ Time seems to be flying past each day, super busy in lab and for the past week, I only got to go home close to 8pm almost everyday. It got me really upset for a period of time especially when I could not even leave before 7pm on my mother's birthday. 

Had extra stuff piled onto my own project which is already a lot to handle at this point in time. It's better now because I've learnt to say "No I can't do it today" and also someone pointed out that I was working too hard. Bless her.

Anyways I've also finally gotten rid of the extra burden which was to study for my insurance stuff. All for the few hundred bucks if I passed the exams and closed some cases. It sounded like a good deal initially because I was being paid to learn stuff but seriously guys there's no free lunch in the world, especially when it comes out of the blue from someone you don't really know. I'm free :')) can spend my nights playing my psp now..

Moving on to more happening stuff :)) Had card captor photoshoot last saturday and got to know so many people. I was a minor card with a fixed pose so it wasn't much of a challenge on my portrayal or expression, just smile and look pretty haha. 

Even for someone who doesn't know the series, I think this is simply amazing. Not the full team but the group already looks impressive. The scale of the costumes is just... wow. So many pairs of wings, so colourful!

Was carried around like a princess twice because I couldn't walk in my tail and Liz just lifted me up before I could take it off to walk ^____^ I felt so pampered hehe OHH my dream came true--- I was carried like a sack of potatoes ahaha less unglam of course but the idea is there

The sun was crazy on that day and at the end, my shoulders were red and burnt =X trying not to think about how much darker I've become on the whole. Months of whitening and avoiding the sun only to lose it all in a single photoshoot. Haish....

I'm kinda looking forward to my next few coses even though I was recruited into the teams aka these cosplays are not initiated out of my own desire :) Aoba is still on my cos list though!!! Must push myself a little to make him appear if not it's forever going to stay on my cosplans at the right side of the blog haha YZ are you still willing to be my Clear??

It's getting a little overwhelming though... I have 3 more cosplays for the rest of the year and I'm really not going to accept anymore for 2013. Mum has been nagging and scolding me regarding cosplay more than usual as well... It increases linearly with the frequency of my cosplays and there's no helping it because second half of the year is the event hot period.. Well at least she still allows me to do what I want ahaha I'll just bear with her scoldings.

I could get used to this :)

Cosfest XII

Cosfest 2013 is over.. The best event I've attended yet-- in terms of the quality, variety and choice of cosplay I saw over the two days and my learning experience. Taking the time off my psp to type a full recount because I want to record the experience down properly.

Initially I had 2 costumes, one for each day of the festival. Was rushing them up to the day before the event before I checked the facebook group post and realised that the Hunter X Hunter team on sunday had been postponed. 

Well.. honestly it was a rather irresponsible of the team leader to not announce the news separately in a new post but I understand that he was caught up in the WCS so all it's ok~ 

Could have saved me a lot of stress though :( because I was really dreading Hisoka and lost sleep trying to rush out his arm bands and styling the hair. I still don't look good for Hisoka, probably the wig's fault :/ At least i'm done for his costume minus the lower arm bands.. might get a new wig too.

So I arrived at the chalet on saturday morning and did up the make up Also helped another team mate with hers yay. It was the first time I did my make up without my big house mirror and I took my own sweet time. I actually messed up on my eyeshadow because I used the wrong colours and used my eyebrow brush for the purple, making my eye make up look darker than I wanted. Lashes went on ok and I didn't put on lower lashes. 

                                                   

I was in full costume when i first set off to the event grounds with part of the team. Could not make it out of the chalet area -_______- it was next to impossible to cover much distance in that mermaid tail. In the end I hobbled back to the chalet and changed back into my shorts. Some team mates were still there and I stayed a while longer to help as much as I could with their costumes and wigs. Then I set off before them because I still needed to change.

When I finally changed into the tail, it attracted an auntie's attention in the toilet.She asked which country I was from, followed me out and literally stared in horror at my inability to walk :(((((((( omg I was drawing stares from everyone along the way not because my cosplay was awesome/beautiful but because I was brisk shuffling. Super embarrassing....

I totally regretted changing into the tail at that toilet because it was still a short distance from the actual place... I miscalculated haha. The funniest thing was that I  bumped into the rest of the team whom I left behind at the chalet and they laughed so loudly when they saw me LOL quite glad they caught up because it was much less embarrassing when I was with them.

My team mates later told me it was the cutest sight to see my curly wig bounce with every shuffle XD I wish I saw it.

Long story short, I had to shuffle in small steps everywhere. When I saw a cosplay I wanted to take photos of, I had to painfully shuffle over and ask for a photo. Thus every photo I took on the first day was the result of my hard work and aching calf muscles. 

I might have been wearing relatively little clothes but boy was it hot... Can only imagine how the rest of the team felt in their wings and gowns OTL

There was DRAMAtical Murder as well! In total I saw 2 Aoba, 2 Noiz, 1 Clear and 1 Koujaku. I heard there was a hot Mink but didn't see him ;__;

At night I had expensive chicken rice, macs vanilla cone and kfc supper cheese fries wheeee. Also managed to catch the 1st episode of Free! at the chalet. Squealed like nobody's business. I barely had time to watch any anime the past week cos was too busy X_X

                                              

Day2 was relaxing for me. As relaxing as it can get because honestly I could not forget about my lab presentation the next day and I had planned to go home early since I wasn't going to cosplay anyway. The highlight of the day was to see the X team.

It was all I could talk about the night before LOL and I was like: Omy I might see Kamui and my X guys later, what should I wear 8D

Bimbo ttm but yes I was that excited and hopeful.

Was kinda saikang warrioring for yifen and andy as Sakura and Syaoran but I was super distracted, kept looking around in hope of seeing the X team hehe

Needless to say I was extremely disappointed when I didn't see them. Went back to the chalet to get my belongings and returned to the event grounds to return the key to Yifen when I saw the Clover team:

                 

They were swarmed by photogs and I waited patiently until I got to them T______________T was crying tears of happiness in my heart. I told them that I was really happy to see a clover team and that they did a great job. Then I saw more members of the Clover team and I was clutching at my chest to keep my feels at bay.

                  

                 

ASDFGHJKLKLASDKJHASDJHGLAKSDHLASKJDHLAKJSH they recruited a pair of twins to cos A and B. LOVELY i spotted the twins walking around previously and was staring at them because they seemed clamp-like but they were not Kamui and Fuuma so I didn't pursue it. When I saw Sue and Ora, things started falling in place T_____T no idea how to describe my feelings

Finally met Yifen to pass the keys and when I went to check on the clover team again, my dream came true.. 

I saw a pair of figures clad in red jackets and holding swords. 

I ran up to them and made eye contact with Kamui. He has lovely blue eyes.

Fuuma was busy so I took solo shots of Kamui my love. He was really sporting and asked me to wait so he could give me his coscard.

Fuuma walked up, I stared at him and his earring hanging so alluringly from his ear. The only thought which flashed repeatedly through my mind was 'Hot stuff'' 

"Fuuma?"

Fuuma smiled "Ahh yes!"

"I've waited so long for the both of you" T ^T

                                                                         

The last photo below is a bonus, I never intended to take a photo with them because I was already saturated with happiness to see them and take photos. Also I was dressed down, looked really red/black faced because I was running around, so excited and the weather was boiling. Then Andy asked why I didn't ask for a photo with them and before I could state my reasons, he went up to them, leaving me gaping and flailing my hands at his retreating back. I didn't know what he said but Kamui and Fuuma turned to smile at me. Everything was a blur, I found out that Fuuma was from Australia though. Before we could take a photo, Fuuma had to answer a call, then Kamui received a call too so I was standing between them blushing hahaha and then this :))

Fuuma also had his arm around my shoulders though you can't see it here ^_________^ this photo really made my day, or possibly even my week. It's now my iphone lock screen.

I received both their coscards. Was really paiseh that I didn't have one to exchange. Should really consider making one hmm.. Never thought that this day would come ahaha it's a good thing I guess!

After I left, KaiLin sent me a photo of another X team, the one I was waiting for. I regretted leaving early of course but just seeing the photo above put me in an unbelievably good mood again. I will settle for photos ^^

In all, cosfest XII with the CCS team was a great experience! I was hesitant when I agreed to join this group, mostly because I was not interested in the character nor the series but I agreed in the end because I knew that I would learn a lot from being in such a big team with many excellent cosplayers. I was right :'D

It's raining heavily outside

Wow seriously, the more I thought about the insurance issue, the worse my mood became.

Then I watched the latest episode of HxH and it really hit rock bottom. There's no way I will be able to feel happy for the coming episodes because the developments are too negative. And it's so dreadful because I know what's going to happen.

And I was hit by a sudden urge to find the HxH accessories I bought during cosfest last year. Hunted high and low and I swear if I didn't find them I was going to cry myself to sleep tonight-- was feeling really upset.

Luckily I found them :) behind my radio, a little dusty. It was after hunting up and down, searching another room and back, that I vaguely remember last seeing them between my radio speakers. 

               

Wanted to accessorize my new laptop bag with them but dang it, Killua and Kurapika look so sweet and beautiful in the clear packaging that I couldn't bear to take them out -__-

So I used Chikage whom I spun from the gacha machine in Taiwan. On closer inspection, he's really well made. The hair spikes at the back of his head are sharp X_X 

               

Also equipped the psp with nyanko sensei :) hmm..... I should switch them around. Chikage for the psp and nyanko for the laptop bag. Next time bah

               

I feel so much better now, man.. that was a bad case of mood swing..

So much feels at 2am

Just realised that Ito Kanato and I go way back, since secondary 3, when I heard her 孤高之魂魄 from one of the CDs which came together with the pile of anime magazines I bought in China.

Was just re-watching the video of GOATBED performing Ai Catch during The Chiral Night -Dive into DMMd- 

One song led to another when I suddenly saw a 孤高之魂魄 video at the side and I was gaping at it for a few seconds. ALL MY FEELS PLEASE I was completely overwhelmed by the nostalgia. 

To me, it means more than just the memories of when I entered the world of anime/manga and took things seriously. It also represented a very happy period of my life-- my secondary school days (met the YYYYs and the bulk of my good friends), which was all the more precious since I didn't exactly feel happy during JC.

Hearing Midorin speak as the voices of various characters from the Nitro games gave me goosebumps. I- I really really love his voice so much. 

I may fangirl over many many seiyuu but really there is just these few I cannot resist no matter what. Midorikawa Hikaru is one of them. There's no turning back once I fell for his voice as Tomoe Yoh. 

Nakamura Yuuichi has been my unbeatable number 1 since the start. I cannot rank Midorikawa Hikaru, Hirakawa Daisuke and Fukuyama Jun but these 4 men with their voices have the ability to make me do very crazy things 8D

Okay pai seh for the rambling which no one understands haha. I probably won't post so much about seiyuu here so I figured I should just get it off my chest in this one post.

Hunter X Hunter Chimera Ants Arc

Has been confirmed!!!! 

This wonderful and emotional arc which took Togashi years and years to complete will finally be animated. Madhouse has been doing a great job with the anime so far, I'm not even going to complain about hearing the same opening tune for 60 over episodes straight because 'Departure' has grown on me so much I don't mind using it as my wedding song. JUST KIDDING 8D in case you guys really get me to do it lol

The start of the arc will leave me distraught, I will never forgot how upset I got when I read volume 19. So many deaths, so much killing ;A: I was so disturbed I couldn't stop thinking about it a few days straight and then I went to buy just that volume lolol.

The middle section might seem long and draggy but perhaps it only appeared that way because of the frequent hiatuses. There are plenty of awesome fights in this part though, and so much character development. GENEI RYODAN, SHALNARK HUBBY, KNUCKLE, SHOOT, EVERYONE!! omg just recalling Netero's fight is sending chills down my spine XD 

...This will be a long time later but the end of the arc will most probably leave me in tears. 

I am not the type to hold back my tears and I've cried over many anime and manga I admit. Hunter X isn't the tear inducing kind of series and I've always been more towards being excited, kept in suspense and positively touched by the plot over the years.... but the one and only time it made me cry seriously was when Gon and Killua met for the first time after Gon's transformation. Aiyo I've rambled enough in this post, and I still feel the same way now.

Just remembering all the moments which got me teary eyed--- when Leorio reappeared, when Kurapica reappeared (pick up your phone dammit), when Gon returned to normal, when Killua apologised to Nanika, when Gon and Killua went separate ways, when girl Kaito appeared, when the Koala thingy confessed... 

So. Much. Feels. UUUURRGHGHGHGHG may update with relevant pictures later but not now cos i'm too emotional now to care about aesthetics.

Alrights, wanted to post about this before the news caught me by surprise XD

I've collected my bubbles outfit from tailor aunty! I can't wait to look like a princess, I felt like one when trying it on :D with the wig it will look even more princessy~~ Won't post photos here because I have no idea how secretive this project is supposed to be, and best not to incur the wrath of my team leader ;) 

Top for Hisoka is also solved! Aunty's charging me less than $30 for it, cheap~ Just bought the cloth today, will pass it to her soon!

Looking forward to meeting the YYYYs this weekend for dinner and movie yay!!!

School next week...

Hello!! School is starting next week and so are sectionals and band.. Pieces are so tough this time OTL and the section shrank. I have a mini free performance next next friday night 25th January at ut0wn! Many different and strange combination ensemble (eg Flute+oboe+sax+piano) from the band will be performing. Haha come down and listen if you're free okies.

The new season of anime has started to come out and despite me not quite anticipating any series except for Amnesia and Chihayafuyu season 2, I'm still going to be following at least 3 series. Eh we'll, that's just one more series which is Cuticle Tantei Inaba. The first episode got me slapping my table and laughing so hard even when I can't remember half the characters' names xD

Chionging Kimi ni Todoke season 2 (while I still have the time) and it's a really sweet shoujo series. I hated Namikawa Daisuke as Shiro in K because it was his uke voice overdone. The voice he used for Kazehaya is so much more refreshing and attractive.

I'm finally on Homare's (Taurus) route in After Summer, having gone for Azusa (Sagittarius) first and then Miyaji (Scorpio) cos I like to save the best for the last ohohoho.

This scene was so pretty, the sakura petals were continuously falling down... very distracting though XD this is Azusa btw

Azusa honestly ranked the bottom few after I played Summer because I don't like cheeky juniors who like to tease you -__- and JunJun's voice wasn't spectacular there. After Summer improved my impression by leaps and bounds. He matured so much and the things he said... omy so logical and touching. It was a pretty good route though the most memorably irritating and rage inducing part was right at the start where Tsukiko was being silly while gathering info to prepare his birthday gift. Like guuurl.. you don't refuse to meet your bf because you want to ask other guy friends what they think your bf would like for his birthday. Also you don't ask only 1 guy per day, making that 6 continuous days of turning down your bf (without telling him what's going on)... What is sms gosh.. Couldn't she ask over the phone? Couldn't she ask all of them in a day or two?

I knew Miyaji's route was going to be better and I wasn't disappointed!!!! Plus he has the same birthday as me so when they celebrated in game I was feeling smug for some reason LOL Miyaji's brothers are so funny XDXD I was squealing whenever they appeared. 

The downside to Miyaji's route was the repetitive problem of him blaming himself whenever he kissed or hugged Tsukiko causing her to freeze up. Then he would leave and distance himself, emoing the whole time until Inukai came in to push them to resolve matters -______- it's ok if this came up once but it was the focus of more than 1 isolated chapter on 2 or 3 different occasions. Well, it wasn't too bad in a sense I didn't get angry or irritated at what was happening. Plus his family is too cute so yea I really liked the route on the whole :D

Homare's route is going to be the best!!! I know it!
