AFA this year

Finally finished my test and presentation and submitted 2 essays on tuesday. Time for event recount!

Woke up with a stomachache on saturday which bugged me the entire mrt ride from the west to pasir ris X_____X it was really bad I even considered getting off early to use the toilet somewhere. I think it was because I was excited to see Suwabe LOL and just nervous on the whole.

Took me some time to get to the chalet, had to ask for directions twice and didn't manage to find the way until this kind uncle walked with me to where I could see the entrance XD that was certainly an ulu place.

I was one of the first few to be done with the make up and preparations so the leader asked me if I could help the others with their make up, and that he would 'send someone over' to have his make up done. Before that person came over though, I was given the task of cutting our coscards which were beautifully printed. I wish I had a clear photo to show here but I have yet to receive my set so yeapp XD soon my friends.

I was there, kinda struggling with the pen knife, ruining a few cards on my first stroke and switched to a scissors. Then this coser whom I find rather good looking but have never spoken to poked his head into the room and asked if I could put on make up for him, addressing me by my name 8DDDDD

Well, maktub. Becuase leader thought I was busy and very good at cutting the cards so he asked another guy to help mr bishie with his make up. I vented my frustrations through the cutting. LOL

Ok jokes aside, it started raining and to make things worse, the chartered bus left without us because we were late and the driver needed to fetch another group of people. GAHHHHHHH I was shocked when I heard the news but nothing else could be done.. In the end we went down in cabs, 4 by 4.

The time was already 2+ and I had planned to be at the ministage at 4pm to catch Suwabe at 4.30pm. Starting to feel anxious.. Fortunately there was no queue for the tickets so I bought the tickets for saturday and sunday and quickly went back to help the team prepare. Wasn't of much help though, cos it was mainly the amours which had to be pieced together and I was awful at doing those X___X and I was too jumpy about meeting Suwabe and being early so I couldn't focus on helping with make up and stuff.

I got to the stage on time, but a crowd had already formed... I was rather at the back. People were sitting on the floor, squeezing around. 

There was this girl on the phone who pushed past me, trying to find her friend. Got irritated with her and to make things worse, her bag zip caught the wig of a Miku cosplayer who was walking away. Miku started screaming -__- and I told her to calm down while untangling the wig. The other girl stayed on her phone the entire time. Seriously pissed off man.. After that I sternly told her that she needed to be more conscious of her surroundings 

Anyways I was still rather at the back of the crowd :(( Because of this, I wasn't chosen to answer any questions to win a gift bag which Suwabe and Yurin would sign. The lucky 20 ppl who were chosen were all standing nearer to the stage than I was. I waved my hands so wildly, to the extent of taking off part of my outfit and waving it to attract attention. Haiz.... disappointed. 

Suwabe was very charismatic on stage and did his best to answer all the questions in english which he wasn't particularly good at XD it was funny though, and almost everything he said made us scream. Yurin of course wasn't so popular but we politely cheered for her as well :)

All the jumping I did made my wig slide off OTL I later realised I must have looked hideous, which was perhaps why the emcee didn't pick me to answer questions LOL also my left contact lens started acting up X___X omg that was my worst nightmare. It was perfectly fine the whole morning so I didn't bring my contact lens case with me.... No choice.. there wasn't much I could do about it. Beared with the discomfort for the rest of the event, IT WAS HORRIBLE.

After the suwabe's segment I met up with CM for a short while before rushing to the toilet to fix my wig (with so many people staring as they queued for the cubicles) I just put on my dao face and did what I needed to do ahaha

Took lots of group shots after that and as expected...... my red left eye was evident in some  of the zoomed in photos taken later X___X not sure how many people noticed but since no one mentioned in the comments I'll  just keep quiet as well haha

Cabbed back to the chalet after that and had pizza, celebrated leader san's birthday XD i took some photos of him making a wish with the lighted candles in the dark and it looked like some horror movie ritual LOL

Even after taking off the contacts, my left eye remained sore and hurting so I kept them closed whenever I could.. Had a ride back to clementi by one of the team mates who also drove a few of us back to cck so I didn't reach home too late despite the busy day :)

Somehow, AFA seems incomplete for me this year, and I know exactly the reason why.. I did not take photos of any cosplays at all. None, nil, zero, except for one single camwhore which I've already posted in the previous entry. Didn't say hi to many people and I'm really really sad I didn't get more time to explore and look at the cosplays :(((((( It's not anybody's fault. When you're in a big group, it's bound to happen. Those in amour didn't even get to sit down and rest haha.. I'm in no position to complain. I did some time to explore the exhibits properly on sunday but it was still early and I wasn't able to meet my friends nor stay back long enough to say hello..

It was a really bad time to have the event I guess.. Took so much fun out of the entire thing because at one big corner of my mind the words 'test and essays' kept flashing.

I will make sure that I take more photos of other people next event and say hi to everyone I know. Also, get a bottle of eyedrops and keep my contact lens case with me all the time :)b

AFA 2013

Such a tiring weekend, I felt like I did so much, but can't remember anything clearly... I really need to write all these down or i'm afraid I'll forget more as the days pass.

I'll talk about the cosplay in another post, here's a photo to tide you over LOLOLOL 

Since the event is over I'm finally able to announce my character! Final fantasy Dissidia, as Laguna Loire and that's Zidane beside me ;)

Today I will be recounting all I can remember about sunday's events because I know I'm going to forget bits and pieces if I wait till tuesday to blog. 

PHOTO WITH SUWABE!

It was obviously going to be a tough fight to be within the first 20, from the mini stage experience on saturday which was an uncomfortable experience (elaboration together with the cosplay post next time) 

I set my alarm at 7am and went to sleep at 1am+ but it was a very light sleep.. I think I wasn't used to my new pillow and overall worried about not getting the photo and my test and essays blablabla.. When the alarm finally rang at 7am, I felt dreary.. Just very pessimistic about the whole thing. Luckily my friend was on whatssap and continued a convo we had the day before, which woke me up and got me out of bed, albeit 20 minutes after the alarm rang. 

As I suspected my left eye was swollen again so I didn't bother putting on contacts, just basic make up, did my eye liner and left the house.

When I got to the convention area my heart sank like nobody's business... There the area closest to the doors was filled with close to a hundred (?) people and already closed off. I was in the 4th row of the second freaking half of the queue. GGfmlbbq. Mostly guys though, at least the area where I was at. But all I could think of was that there were definitely more than 20 enthusiastic Suwabe fangirls in front of me and I was never going to make it.

It was exactly 9 when the event helpers allowed the first half people to stand up, and when I finally started moving, I jogged and dodged my way to the front. The guys didn't seem to be in as much of a hurry and were ok with me passing through hahaha. What were they there so early for O_o oh well thanks anyways, for letting me pass without fuss. 

The moment I got into the hall I just started running LOL I had studied the floor plan while waiting and knew where to go. Could have run faster but my bag was kinda in the way and didn't want to seem too crazy X____X yes I held back and just kinda matched the speed of the two utapri cosers who were running as well. I still reached before they did and queued behind two japanese ladies who in a way.. cut my queue. Oh wells I did a rough estimation and figured that I was still within the first 20 so I didn't insist. LUCKILY I WAS NO. 16 muack muack this is my new favourite number :DDD I couldn't bear to look at the people who were told by the staff that they didn't make it :( it must have been terribly disappointing

Finally received the ticket number after 10 minutes of waiting and almost thought I had to stay there the entire time till the actual photo session. Fortunately the animax lady told us that they had to clear the area so we were free to go but needed to be back by 10.30am.

I went to take a photo alone at the animax booth using the HxH background. I think I looked terrible LOL why won't the photographer guy let me do my own head adjustments XD nvm went to the toilet to touch up on my make up after that and walked around the rest of the booths. The one and only merchandise I bought:

The Asia Kawaii Way booth also caught my eye because it was so pink and pretty and full of cosmetics. I kept looking at the nail polishes OWO so pr:etty!!! Wanted to try but there was no one there yet and when the lady was there, she was doing a manicure for another person so I moved on :) will check those out in stores if I see them.

Reported back at the animax booth and we all started hyperventilating, the crowd started forming which ironically blocked suwabe and yurin from view when they arrived. Was peeved that I couldn't see him over all the heards but nevermind, let them off this once because I'll get a photo with Be-sama XD

Took a test shot before the actual session to see if I looked ok. Was too excited hahaha look at my grin.

The actual photo taking happened too quickly before I could register much OwO I handed my bags to the lady who passed them to another lady at the other side of the green screen when I walked to stand between Be-sama and Yurin.

Only he said it in a looong drawn out way which allowed me to enjoy a few more seconds of his live voice right beside my ear LOLOLOL I was like asdfghajsdggasjhgd and since my glasses were off, I couldn't see the camera really well and Suwabe very nicely gestured to the camera lens. It didn't help much, wouldn't have helped much unless he were to cup my face or touch my head and angle my head to look at the lens properly but omy HAHAHAH omg what am I typing.

It was over so soon! I said thank you, bowed and stepped off the green area. I wish I looked at Suwabe more. After waiting forever for the photo to be printed out, I wished I stood closer to the both of them:

Comes in a nice clear plastic sheet :) I'm so attaching another layer of clear plastic over it to draw on decorations before bringing it to lab to put it on top of my desk.

When Jun jun appeared on the screen and all the girls started screaming, it just dawned on me that if my top seiyuu biases came to Singapore, and there's an interaction opportunity on a first come first served basis, I would never stand a chance against the rest of the girls. There are just too many. I just got lucky for Suwabe (and AFA didn't announce the photo taking segment, it was only posted on the Animax page so the awareness wasn't as great)

I also saw Angela, Elisa and Takanori san!! Angela was very funny and lively while talking about 'Boku ja nai' and made the crowd laugh XD Elisa was lovely OTL so pretty and just gave off an air of elegance :) Nothing much needs to be said about TMR and Nana, the crowd (myself included) was already screaming at the mention of their names LOL Nana looked so pretty as well, just like the photos I've seen.

It was a real pity they didn't sing during that meet and greet segmen, not that I was expecting them to but one can always hope yea?? XD

Ok now that i've calmed down a little more things start to get messy in my head. I hope they will be making their appearance on stage after the big shot singers because I will have a better chance of getting a seat. I hope their merchandise will not be too expensive because I really want to shake hands and see them up close. I hope my hands won't be sweaty.

Imagine all the Kise cosers OMG my friend who recently did Mukami Kou from dialovers more blood has such awesome timing!!!!! I'm so jealous!! If she were to go for Kimura ryohei's handshake session in Kou's costume I'm sure he would say something more to her AHHHHHH jelly~ 

Also saw a Maoh sama duo during STGCC ahhh how nice T__T ok tbh i'm not that hyped for Ryouta hahaha but everything is lovely because the both of them are coming.

I hope the event schedule comes out soon. I will plant my butt in the stage room and scream my lungs out. In costume =/ ahhhhh cross dressing for AFA... Of all times why can't I cos a pretty girl when it really matters. Will meet them dressed as a rugged guy (very handsome ok) with a huge gun. GOod job me. 

Speaking of which I need to rush for the costume OTL photoshoot is a month away

Exams have ended!!

And it's 2 days to EOY at marina barrage.

Was too busy making my gun yesterday so didn't blog.. also painted my scarf whee~ My props are more or less done phew but I was really stressed out yesterday... Was so worried that the glue wouldn't stick the parts together, that the paint wouldn't go on properly, or that I couldn't find the right coloured foam sheets. 

Then my mum commented that I was really too slow in making the stuff. This comment really really really hurt me.. I tried to tell her how I woke up at 10, prepared the materials, started painting, painted so many coats cos the colour was too light, spray painted other stuff, braved the rain and went out to buy materials, agonized over what I should get because I had no idea if they would even work and blablabla until at 5pm I was waiting for the glue to dry for the first covering of the gun prop. 

But I couldn't get it out because I was going to start sobbing if I had continued talking. Her stupid insensitive comment. It's true that the gun looked almost the same other than having  the barrels sprayed black and a grey covering for the front part of the handle but on hind sight, I don't think I was slow. I couldn't have been any much faster..

Mum knew that she made me extremely upset so she didn't say anything discouraging for the rest of the night.

Enough ranting.. ANYWAYS met up with the Ys immediately after Yz's last paper haha too bad HY couldn't join us. we had delicious hand-burgers and mine came with very nice la0sai hahaha I think we were all abit out of it-- it was Fei's first day at work, Yz just finished her last paper, I had a long day preparing for EOY this sunday, and Hsuan was busy preparing for HK trip. 

All of us wore blue!!! And we had dessert where we talked about very sad stuff.. :( my feet were hurting like mad. Never wearing that pair of shoes and walking so much again.

I like this photo hehe abit zi lian to say that myself. The lighting was good! And Kyou didnt get me at an awkward expression. The AFA wristband spoilt it though.. and after brightening the photo, there are minor black streaks at my chin and neck area which I didnt' realise until now.. hahah

One of the rare photos with Yz looking in character (for the 2yl version at least) -_- I was busy and left them to auto pilot, they took so few photos and didn't pose nicely... wasted sia. but it's ok!! 

Yz very brave to wear this outfit.. It was too big for me so I exchanged for kyubei whom she was taking initially. She has a better figure anyway so 8D hehe

AFA 2012

This was hands down the most tiring event ever but it was so eventful!! But I wish I had better time management and that the handphone reception at expo was better. Super super duper long post! So I'll start off with some complaints as usual ;)

Arrived there earlier than expected and managed to get my ticket. The hall was huge, and it was hard walking from one end to the other because it was too crowded, and my shoes were killing me. Perhaps I didn't study the floor plan well enough, perhaps the management didn't do a good enough job labeling the entry points, I couldn't find the entrance for the festive stage -_- even received wrong directions from a staff. I have leg muscle ache today T__T

The reception was really bad, and I forgot to tell Kyou and the rest to please pick up their phones. As a result, I was separated from the team after finishing my seiyuu event, and again after my interview. Waste time, energy and my phone battery ttm while looking for them.

Also, I would really rather not have a person who's not in the team to tag along especially if he/she causes inconvenience because wants to do his/her own stuff. We can meet and go together, but please go solo after that if you want to do sth that the rest have no interest in.

This time there were a lot of cosplayers, too many I didn't know how to start taking photos so I ended up not taking any.. except of ppl I know and the Genei Ryodan.. Not good :( 

Next up-- Happy stuff :D I SAW DAISUKE KISHIO!!! screamed a lot at him and took photos and videos even though it's not allowed. Nvm, as long as I don't share them in public right? ^_^

Kishio was very very cute on stage though he never really looked in my direction :( though I was sitting in the middle section. He did a voice for the merlion and initially he did that gurgling sound XD and said that the merlion couldn't speak because water was coming out of it's mouth HAHA

Then after his song, he asked for water and while Danny Choo was blocking the camera while Kishio drank, Kishio kept peeping out from behind Danny with ADORABLE EXPRESSIONS. Like O.O and :3 hahahaha I also caught him pouting (idk?? XD) while May'n was being interviewed hehe

Lots of other people were also screaming for Kishio, it was a good sign!! I really hope AFA invites other male seiyuus in the future. Please please please~~

I also managed to find and buy my Dramatical Murder badges, didn't want to get the full set at first but the person told me that it's cheaper to get everything so that was what I did =D I was a few meters away from the booth and checked my goods. Realised that they missed out Mink!! Omg flew back and 'demanded' my Mink haha! With this, I'm planning to start a DMMd cosplay team soon and give the respective badges out to the cosers. 

While looking for Kyou and the rest, I saw the loves of my life, the Genei Ryodan!! Super happy and excited!! And it's very special because there was a Shalnark within the team!!!!! MY LAOGONG~ I took solo shots of them (kuroro, hisoka and shalnark) and then took a shot with Shal kun. Pity I didn't look very nice there but it's ok.

Nope I'm not sorry that I manipulated the photo XDXDXD

I actually went back to find them again after the full team assembled, this time with Bonorenofu and Feitan. Took group shots 8D

Then I went for a scheduled interview with a Japanese professor who flew to Singapore just these few days to give a talk on Japanese pop culture in NUS today and tomorrow. I did her survey on anime and manga perception a few months back and so honoured sia, my answers caught her attention. So she asked me a lot of questions and I had a lot of fun rambling on and on about my love for anime and manga, essentially all my feels. She was so interested in what I had to say about my love hate relationship with Yaoi and voice recorded everything down HAHA first time someone pays so much attention to my anime and manga ramblings (Y) 

We even spoke about seiyuus OMG you know.. seiyuus are really so popular in Japan. The anime and manga fandom overseas may be huge, but love for seiyuus is totally underrated. She asked for my favourite seiyuu cos I told her about Daisuke Kishio and when I said Nakamura Yuuichi, she said 'youkyan'!! She admires Yoshimasa Hosoya alot, and calls him 'Hosoyan'. T___T true blue seiyuu fan there. It was awesome talking to her =DDD 

The poor guy who was with her knows nothing about seiyuus (he doesn't know about yuri either O_o even though he likes anime and manga and draws) and she explained to him that she likes Hosoyan for his voice only, not the appearance. While Youkyan, whom I like, is quite good looking. I was like... O_o because I actually consider Hosoyan to be better looking than Youkyan. I once watched a video of Hosoyan singing and dancing and 被电到 haha

Anyways in the end she gave me a set of tiger and bunny bookmarks. Yay :) but too bad I didn't watch the series because it seems to have too much boy love.

I went out after the interview and was lucky enough to find the rest who had their photos taken by lots of photographers while I was not there T__T it's ok I'll survive.

 I don't have all the photos yet so just sharing what I have on my camera..

 I honestly wish I had nicer lips.. they're so thick me no likey. Time to experiment with lip concealers :P added lip colour to this one, still not too bad :D

Overall, cosplay wise I tried eye shadow make up and lower lashes for the first time and it was passable by my standards. Still got lots to improve though!! Hope the rest enjoyed themselves hehe I was really quite impatient but hey someone has got to play the bad guy right! and Yz arh......... really got to put in more effort and take care of the costume and wigs (really heart pain when I see the state of my wig). 

Still, really need to thank Yz and Kyou for cosplaying together with me. Hope to cosplay together again!! Cos I've been asked to join groups here and there which do not include them. But if I form my own team, I'll definitely leave a spot for yz and kyou~!

2 weeks to AFA O_O

I've done my chinese essay, protein group report and cardio assignment 1! Started on molecular biotech report too. The only pending work is cardio assignment 2, science fiction story and GEK report which I have very little control over because some of my group mates are late in submitting their part. Already being very nice by compiling and bugging them in a non threatening manner.

It makes my blood boil whenever they're so unresponsive. It's ok if they're unresponsive but send me the stuff on time. BUT NO, delayed day after day wth. Hello... I'm very busy too okay, you have no right to submit late and then wash your hands off after you did your part (provided you even submit your part of the report). But when I start composing the email or sms to tell them a piece of my mind I sound so freaking civil and unthreatening that I surprise myself because I was really angry and angsty when I started composing the message. The final message even sounds pitiful -___- well whatever works cos they all replied after that.

I'm not happy with this result but no time to keep trying :( though I did try a few more times but this result kept popping up even when I pressed print screen with my eyes closed! So ah wells. First of all..... WHERE'S HOMARE sobs... and Kazuki your crush is not an unrequited one because my heart is with you! -kicks the rest away- sorry abit angsty haha. 

This made me realise that even though I love all the starry sky guys, I don't love Azusa and Kanata as much as the rest

Edit: This result is better!! :D just noticed the 'you best friend' though and wth.. lover, boyfriend, happy end are all different guys. What is wrong? ..... nothing at all :D

Oh yea the Ys were talking about horoscope on whatssap recently. I don't quite fancy Carpricorns irl but I lurrrve Capricon aka Yoh kun in the game. Because of his voice and pretty face lololol.  Taurus and Aries are my favourite :D I would marry either of them.. really!! Sorry Yufei your sagging I mean Sagittarius character in game, Azusa, is one of my last choices along with Pisces. The Gemini character is the creepiest out of the gang and has a long neck. Aquarius is a very very cute character in game, eccentric too HAHA! Just as yufei described.

The voice actor for Leo is coming (elaboration in my previous post) and i'm so excited because AFA is coming really really really soon!

I managed to get the wig to look nicer but the pony tail at the back is still.... not ideal. The problem about a single pony tail is that it's hard for it to always show up on photos. If it doesn't, I'll look like Ciel from Kuroshitsuji especially with the eyepatch hahaha!!! Must figure out how to clip it on such that it shows and doesn't pull on the base wig too much.

When I took off the outfit, the teeshirt I was wearing inside was 40% soaked. Help. And hey look! That's my saxophone by the side, haven't return yet =X

KISHIO IS COMING TO SINGAPORE FOR AFA

Long long post cos I have lots to talk about :D and i'm in a very good mood! Going to be really really busy the coming week/weeks.. Reports, assignment, chinese essays and more! Good thing is that I'm quite motivated. But I realised today that motivation =/= productivity... Got so distracted all day. 

Was distracted in the afternoon when AFA announced that Daisuke Kishio will be coming to Singapore, as a guest for AFA. When I saw his photo, I had to remind myself that it was on fb, not tumblr where seiyuus fill my dash all the time. And that it was AFA which posted the photo, and  at this time of the year AFA usually posts about guests who are attending the event or will be invited in the future.

and I'm totally laughing at this convo I had with my senior on fb last month.

My senior's going to rich since her friend said she'll give her all her money LOL

He's not coming to promote an event, so most probably he won't be doing any fun stuff. But heyyy it's a very very good start for Singapore! More seiyuus may be coming XD I'm pleasantly surprised because AFA gave no clues that they were planning on inviting a seiyuu in the past. At least for Perfume, they posted a video to test the waters early this year.

Not too much details announced yet so I can't plan my day at AFA yet. Though I'll definitely be getting the $20 ticket which includes stage access, and I'll definitely be going on Saturday (same as my initial plan so yayy)

If there's one thing that's bugging me, it's that I have no merchandise for him to sign on, wellllll not that there's going to be an autograph session ( well, maybe 8D). I'd much rather have a photo taken with him anyways and I'm honestly not familiar with Kishio's anime roles, it's his otome game roles and drama cds that i'm crazy over but the otome game market is so small here so any Kishio merchandise that's on sale during AFA will most prob not be related to his otoge characters.

NVM I'M HAPPY, REALLY ELATED. This will be my motivation to stay happy until the event is over.

Next thing which may become my motivation: Perfume concert! 

Physical tickets were sold out so quickly after the sales started, I stood no chance. I went to ballot for a single general admission ticket. And the process was so simple that i'm gravely worried that tons of half-hearted people will be balloting as well, decreasing my chance of getting a ticket. Ballot results will be out next next week I think, through email ;___; what would I give to wake up to an email in my inbox ARGHGHGH please please please.

Anyways went with Yz on thurs to daiso to get black gloves and some other stuff and then to her house to try on the outfits. Managed to solve some problems and all's looking good! Except for the eye patch which is too big for my face. And it's really quite uncomfy to have the patch covering my eye.  

See I can't even open my other eye properly -_- what am I going to do about the make up for the other eye? Just do one eye and leave the other bare? I'd look hideous. If I do make up for both eye, the covered eye make up might smudge and I'd look hideous too. 

One thing for sure, even i I do make up for both eyes, fake eyelashes for the covered eye is a nono and that alone is enough to me look weird when I dont wear the eye patch. Yz's abit concerned about her 'fats' cos the stomach is exposed for her costume. HAHAHA jiayou gymming!!

Hot saturday morning, picked Yz from the mrt and started the tedious make up process at my house. Reminds me so much of AFA 10 with J, only J was in my position then HAHA

Strutted around in my lolita outfit =D with Yz and Tim! We took the mrt to city hall!! I might have felt totally awkward if I were to do this myself, so really grateful for the company :) Had band friends with me on the way home, so again it wasn't so bad haha

Afa shopping, birthday!

Put on make up to practise for afa.. Looked fine but toward the end of the day, didn't hold up. I guess foundation is a must after all.. How arh.. I also didn't manage to achieve the same look for my eyes which Janice helped me with last year..

Either way, camwhore time!! Met up with YZ and had a fruitful trip :D

My section planned a surprise celebration for me!! The room was in total darkness when i entered after setting up my instrument, then Jm and Elizabeth played happy birthday on the saxophone and piano together. Super romantic can!! XD Yong Chun and Gilbert (the tutor) were there too XDXD smile until cant see eyes.. So much for make up HAHA

Can't wait for next saturday, but got to get past some CAs 1st X__X

Anime Festival Asia X

Operation Zettai Ryouiki success! ;D

This post is not a review of AFAX nor will it cover any events. Will be writing about my 'adventures' which is of no relevance to ppl who do not know me/ are looking for complete write ups =)))

Anime festival Asia 2010 or AFAX was held in Singapore on the 13th to 14th of november. This marks my 2nd time attending. My attention was more on the cosplayers (especially since HxH ppl were going to show up) and not the exhibitions, which I felt were kinda unexciting. But let's talk about the exciting stuff shall we =D

Note: Extremely detailed descriptions coming up, please don't take me as a stalker. I am but a mere fangirl.

My main goal was to take photos of and with the hxh cosplayers wahaha pretty narrow I admit but oh well, that's me. Kept looking out for the hxh cosers the moment I arrived at suntec but didn't see any. Was at the animax dubbing section when I turned to my right and spotted a dainty figure with silver hair holding onto a skateboard and an unopened lollipop coming my way. Couldn't take my eyes off him, it was too risky lest I lost sight of him among the sea of people.

Inner voice: Killua killua killua killua killua killua

I don't exactly recall what I was doing ie gaping/ alerting janice/ smsing LOL but these were my train of thoughts

Inner voice: Take picture, take picture oh wait, see if he's meeting up with the rest of the group then boomz, take a group photo. Oh wait, start thinking of poses too, you dont want to mess up the photo. And I hope I get to see the rest too---- blablabla

Like some stupid action flick I actually suggested to Janice that we follow him XD

Me: Janice! Follow the white hair guy while I reply a sms

Janice: Usu boss! Who's he?

Me: KILLUA

Janice: Oh, from where?

Me: HUNTER X HUNTER

Now that was kinda funny cos I've been ranting to Janice about how much I wished to meet the hxh ppl and i've been babbling to her about the series on almost a monthly basis for around 5 years? HAHA exaggeration.

Can't remember if I replied the sms in the end cos the opportunity came much earlier than expected when a group of 3 or 4 girls ambushed Killua near the entrance and requested to take a photo with him. Before he picked up his bag to leave, I popped the question too LOL

I got a 1:1 photo with Killua! Hah! Take that, group of girls who beat me to taking photo with him XD

Pretty much in bliss for the rest of the day. End of story. Hahahaha naahh I also saw Shizuku when returning from lunch but she was setting up deme-chan (and blowing her nose -so cute!!-) so i left her alone and went into the hall to see if I could spot other hxh cosplayers. Managed to see Killua again. He was with a group of friends (not cosplaying)

Could have asked for another photo but chose not to in the end because

1. didn't want to scare Killua with my creepy enthusiasm

2. might die from an overdose of happiness if I got another photo with him

No luck meeting Kuroro, went out again to find shizuku =) this time she was ready

Also requested for a photo with the very good looking Ichigo, who was cosing alone the entire time =D he was rather good, I saw a variety of poses from him and he made an effort to change his pose for every photo =) me likey very muchy

Lots of vocaloid cosplays. Beautiful and elaborate costumes. Some Mikus were very sweet looking while others looked ok, but all appreciated=D

Saw Nurarihyon cosplays too haha 2 Nura Rikuos, 1 Nurarihyon (only because the hair was elongated straight to the back and not to the side O_o) and a Zen sama XD

Kuroro was elusive and successfully evaded my spider radar =( Danchou, I will definitely meet you next time! -heads towards the east-
