Merry late Xmas!!!

I'm having such a good time in Malaysia I don't want to go back... Eat, sleep, slack everyday plus lots of shopping :D THIS IS THE LIFE MAN

Results were expected, I've got to buck up next sem!! (: anyways here's a late christmas wish! Hope the coming year will be fantastic!! :D

We came home late one night to see zaizai behaving suspiciously... Spotted a small puddle of very yellow liquid near the sofa. Zaizai's SO ADORABLE when he's guilty XD

 

Painstakingly greeted friends, played gacha to sell items and attended parties, whoops I mean went on guards to finally get enough enders to buy these final sets of outfit. It took me 3 freaking days......

To view the last epilogue for Kaiji, the game forced me to buy an ugly outfit for Kaiji and even inserted interaction with Sora to seduce me. The final epilogue was a little disappointing but I'm very happy and satisfied to have completed Kaiji's route :D

Kaiji telling Sora to shut up in Sora's first chapter. Sora isn't what I expected.. I was expecting a young and shota character who's immature and innocent---- Sora may have the smallest build among the guys but this guy is a total flirt HAHA I think he's older than he looks too. Either way, still cute ^^ 

The christmas event for Be My Princess is officially over! I took this during Glenn's route. It wasn't bad though nothing can beat Keith's route it seems. I always go for him first wahaha. This not the first time the weird narration has spoilt the mood -_-

What is this I can't.

Back to my games-- I've finished Kitsune's good end as well as Yamaneko's good end even though I said I wouldn't touch him. Kitsune has replaced Ookami to become my favourite guy in Akazukin. I was really angry with Kitsune after there was an overload of jealousy from that guy which even caused him to turn violent. WTH really fuming but I still forgave him because he's such a cute character. Didn't pay much attention to Yamaneko and skipped many parts, paying more attention to his H parts because I've never heard Yusa in any  otoges other than starry sky hehe. He wasn't bad I guess but no one can beat Waachan and Hinochii as of now.

Left with the Wolves' and Julian's routes for Black Wolves Saga. I honestly enjoyed the cats' routes. Sakurai and Yochin are excellent voice actors -kowtows- I was charmed by both Mejojo and Auger even though I tried not to be. The good ends are all so sinister I don't know what to think of them T__T Auger's good end especially.. WHY AUGER WHYYYY y u make my heart go tokidoki and then dash my hopes. Isn't this supposed to be the good end?! 

Half way through Zara's route and it's the most normal one, he's so gentle and composed though I can sense a bit of a Do-S in this crafty rabbit. Ishida also sounds very gentle here. 

Okiedokies I'm going thailand early tomorrow! Back on sunday and then back to Singapore on monday night. Then I'll have to plan and bid for modules T__T

My Sweet Bodyguard musings 2

I'm flying tomorrow :) updating in advance! 

Finally had a little more time to resume my otome games.. Finished the annoyingly long Ookami route in Akazukin. It's so freaking long, the route could have ended nicely more than 3 times but no they just had to go on and on.. I've considered throwing the game aside for eternity but still started on Kitsune because ahem I want to hear Hatano Wataru ahem

I can see the cycle repeating itself-- I'm going to fall for the character, the character's going to do the unforgivable and make me hate him. Depending on how long I drag the route, I might have forgotten some of my hatred and grow to like the character again -__- 

Given how long the routes are, I don't think I'll be trying Yamaneko at all because Yusa Kouji isn't that high on my seiyuu bias list much as I fangirl over him at times. But Hatano Wataru....... ...... ^//////^ he makes very sexy sounds. I've heard him in Tsuki no Hikari Taiyou no Kage as well as Scarlet blcd and honestly he doesn't sound all that different (or maybe I wasn't paying attention) but my ears~~~ 

Eh before things get too x rated I'll move on to black wolves saga. Finished Mejojo's good end and went on to what I thought was Mejojo's bad end but BLEHHHHH it was Auger's bad end instead. JULIAN NOOOOOOOO GUILIAN NOOOOOOO. Wah, terrible to see Guilian die twice. Was cringing when Julian got stabbed too.. In the cat's route I had to choose who I wanted to be punished by -pulls hair- was really shivering whenever the whip sounded. 

Next up will be photo spams for my sweet bodyguard. I'm almost completing Kaiji's route but my rank is still at an A, not S T___T wonder how that will affect the ending.

The plot reached it's maximum sweetness in this chapter and then things started to get complicated with misunderstandings, mini fights and stuff ;__; I had just enough enders (in game currency) to buy the sweet route but chose to go for normal so I would still have enough for the next mission.. and I just had the feeling that I was being punished for not choosing the sweet route.. 

I wouldn't call that slightly surprised haha

SO CUTE SO CUTE SO CUTE ASDKJAHLSKDHALSJ if all goes according to plan, I'll be choosing Sora as my next bodyguard. He has already caught my attention very early on but his route wasn't released then but now it is, so yea :D I still love Kaiji though.

Long winded post okies XD

Possibly the most rushed cosplay I've done, stressful too since it was with a group of high lvl cosers I'm not too familar with. 

In the end both my tube dress AND wig didn't arrive on time (you can see how rushed the whole thing was haha) called Terenz one day before to borrow the wig and Yifen offered to lend me her black dress. Received both the dress and wig on the day of event itself, damn rush and I had no idea how it would turn out X_X

Got very paiseh wearing that tube dress so I threw my jacket over it.. I mean it's not very very revealing but the last time I wore something so sexy was maybe.... sec 4 graduation night??! and I was the only person in the group without a wig -__- super out of place.

Onward to marina barrage~~ I sat on my husbando's lap throughout the shuttle bus ride LOL

At marina barrage, I put on the wig outside the toilet with no mirror and only went in to check if it looked presentable at the end. The fan was so strong which was good because I was perspiring like crazy after all that running about to collect the wig. But at the same time I was crying inside because I could literally feel the wig getting tangled LOL it was very long, thanks a million to Terenz for lending it to me T_____T without the wig I would have just become a saikang warrior for the rest of the team that day.

I was able to comb out 99% of the tangles that night before washing it the next day hooray!! Proud of myself ;)

Compared to the previous events, more people requested to take photo. I guess the character really does matter. I should probably stop doing obscure versions of characters haha It's not how major the character in the series is, but what I've been cosing has been random versions of characters that are seldom recognized by people. This time, my character has a love interest in the group so yay for couple shots! XD Made more friends and just goofed around.

Something quite scary interesting happened towards the end. Husbando and I were rushing back to the meeting place because the team was leaving. A group of uncles armed with cameras asked the two of us for photos but I very nicely declined since we had to leave already. 

Then I saw 3 Hunter X characters and totally ran up to them to quickly take photos because I would never let myself live it down if I didn't take photos of HxH cosers. I ran so fast that my hat flew off -__- The uncles must have thought: Walao.. this girl say she no time for photos but run so fast to take photos of other ppl..

After that husbando and I brisk walked all the way to the carpark, met up with the rest of the team who then told me that my bag was with the team leader who was still waiting for me inside the venue. Oh my tian, I must have missed him when I rushed out. So I walked back in alone and guess who I met on the way-- the same group of uncles! Ahahaha

Since they asked a second time even after my first decline, I agreed this time round. Really felt like a prey cos this uncle kept saying stuff like "aha this time you can't escape" and other stuff I can't quite remember while taking photos -__- not very comfortable........ He was nice enough to show me a shot that he took (he's like the leader or something HAHA) so I asked if he was going to be uploading them anywhere, sg cafe or some fb photography page. He looked a little surprised and said jokingly(?) "Wah still want to upload arh, you never give me your email address?"

I honestly felt a sudden chill. So you've taken so many photos of the whole event and all with no plans to even upload them anywhere? All for personal enjoyment? Oh.. ok. Almost ran away after thanking them and saying it's ok. 

Finally met the team leader and claimed my bag, husbando showed up too, since we were taking so long OTL I felt much safer with them around.

We parted at the carpark since I was heading to bishan for a friend's birthday party and they were returning to the chalet. Was lazy to walk back to marina barrage toilet to change out and decided to change at the mrt toilet instead. Guess who I met at the crowded busstop: The uncles! HAHAHA 

Oh my tian 哭笑不得 The worst thing was the same leader uncle spotted me and was telling his friends that I was there. I just smiled politely at him and stepped out of their views, hiding behind the advertisement board. Pretended to read an sms and walked back to the barrage.

I don't think the uncles meant any harm lah, they were quite amusing now that I think back but at that point in time I was just being cautious. My green hair was very attention seeking I guess, plus the outfit and bright red lips made me look more mature-- uncle's kind of vege LOL

Changed out at the toilet and totally heaved a sigh of relieve at the benches..... Then I realised I left my precious gun in the cubicle -__- I had also lost the big plastic bag which I used to keep my gun --- shocked some train and bus commuters while carrying it around.. 

Was so damn tired when I finally arrived that the party. Scared my friends some more with my make up (Y) 

The silly pimples on my forehead didn't clear completely.. I abstained from chocolate for nothing! I guess it's time to get proper foundation.. I've been surviving on just concealer and bb cream every single cosplay, not satisfied with the effect on the photos. I'm happy with my eyes in general and eye shadow hehe! Though this time my left lower lashes was sticking out a little =/

The toughest props I've made so far.. painting scarf was a total chore.. And the colour wasn't even obvious in the photos... I've got to repaint it. My greatest take away from prop making is that if you don't even start making the prop, you'll never know if your idea will work or not. And more importantly, you'll never get anything done. So yea!

Exams have ended!!

And it's 2 days to EOY at marina barrage.

Was too busy making my gun yesterday so didn't blog.. also painted my scarf whee~ My props are more or less done phew but I was really stressed out yesterday... Was so worried that the glue wouldn't stick the parts together, that the paint wouldn't go on properly, or that I couldn't find the right coloured foam sheets. 

Then my mum commented that I was really too slow in making the stuff. This comment really really really hurt me.. I tried to tell her how I woke up at 10, prepared the materials, started painting, painted so many coats cos the colour was too light, spray painted other stuff, braved the rain and went out to buy materials, agonized over what I should get because I had no idea if they would even work and blablabla until at 5pm I was waiting for the glue to dry for the first covering of the gun prop. 

But I couldn't get it out because I was going to start sobbing if I had continued talking. Her stupid insensitive comment. It's true that the gun looked almost the same other than having  the barrels sprayed black and a grey covering for the front part of the handle but on hind sight, I don't think I was slow. I couldn't have been any much faster..

Mum knew that she made me extremely upset so she didn't say anything discouraging for the rest of the night.

Enough ranting.. ANYWAYS met up with the Ys immediately after Yz's last paper haha too bad HY couldn't join us. we had delicious hand-burgers and mine came with very nice la0sai hahaha I think we were all abit out of it-- it was Fei's first day at work, Yz just finished her last paper, I had a long day preparing for EOY this sunday, and Hsuan was busy preparing for HK trip. 

All of us wore blue!!! And we had dessert where we talked about very sad stuff.. :( my feet were hurting like mad. Never wearing that pair of shoes and walking so much again.

I like this photo hehe abit zi lian to say that myself. The lighting was good! And Kyou didnt get me at an awkward expression. The AFA wristband spoilt it though.. and after brightening the photo, there are minor black streaks at my chin and neck area which I didnt' realise until now.. hahah

One of the rare photos with Yz looking in character (for the 2yl version at least) -_- I was busy and left them to auto pilot, they took so few photos and didn't pose nicely... wasted sia. but it's ok!! 

Yz very brave to wear this outfit.. It was too big for me so I exchanged for kyubei whom she was taking initially. She has a better figure anyway so 8D hehe

2 more papers to go! Happy that they are spread out but the torture is extended :( Jiayou friends!!

I guess the HxH Kurapika one shot would have been translated by now since the raws were floating around yesterday night. There's this so called cover for volume 0 which looks amazing, I can't wait to get my hands on it. The volume cover for volume 31 has also been released, it's such a pinkish purplish colour I'm in love!!! You know, whenever a new volume is compiled and printed, it's a sign that Togashi will break the hiatus and continue writing. Let's put this to the test, not counting the one shot, let's see if there will be news of HxH manga resuming :D 

Recently voltage released the iOS version for my sweet bodyguard and I jumped on the bandwagon. It wasn't too hard to get used to since I'm already an old bird at Be My Princess haha. 

It starts off with you getting attacked while at work and then rescued by a bunch of guys who claim to be body guards. Turns out you're the prime minister's daughter and while you might be happy to be reunited with your long lost father, you have become a target because a neighboring country is trying to kidnap you to blackmail the prime minister!! They sure act fast.. 

So you have to choose one out of the 3 bishies  available (3 more to be released in the future) to be your 24 hour body guard kyaaaa~~~ It was a clear choice for me, I chose Kaiji who's also an elementary school childhood friend whom you've lost touch with after moving house until he rescued you from the attack at work. Chose him because the chief looked too old and Subaru looked too sinister.. of reasons hehe

The story so far is super duper funny omg I never fail to laugh when reading the short 5 chapters every night. This didn't happen for Be my princess so I'm impressed :) Lots of amusing events like accidentally buying a pink t shirt with a heart on it for Kaiji, much to his embarassment, and having a cross dressing terrorist who tries to hit on Kaiji. But his sisters take the cake. Seriously, I was ROFLing when they entered the story. 

 

Triplet sisters who talk in unison!!! And they are the ultimate fangirls who stir people together and form an OTPs within seconds XD

       

Why am I laughing so hard XD XD weeellll.. it was funnier on the phone together with the flow of the story, I promise!

                                       

When he blushes he looks like he got punched on the left cheek XD too bad all the screenshots I took of Kaiji are of him frowning.. It's part of his charm ;) He's good at english, very nice, caring and knows martial arts. I've seen pictures here and there of the other guys posted by other people and it seems that every guy's route is interesting! I might really consider spending money on getting the other voltage non gree games in the future if they're like this. 

This app is available for android phones and iphone. If you're new to gree games, the system might seem like a lot to take in and a whole lot of trouble just to progress with the story but really, some perseverance will help. The other players are very friendly too! So that's a plus :)

Since I'm on voltage games, I'll just ramble about Be My Princess. It's the xmas event now and I chose Keith. Enjoying it a lot!! Keith was my first prince and though I wasn't that smitten by him at that time, I've really missed his bossy attitude after moving on to other princes. A little worried about how i'm going to juggle the game when I'm overseas (this shows how addicted I am?!) mainly I'm just worried that I won't have enough points to progress with the story or get the ending I want if I can't attend the parties regularly. Should be ok though since it will be close to the end of the event where love points aren't that much of a problem, I hope! :D

So many things to do after exams!! A lot of anime I want to watch and I've really neglected my otome games... Will finish up Ookami san from AkaMori and  after the exams. There's going to be no end to the games I want to play if I get a PSP (which I will muahahaha). Either an old old one from a friend, or check out second hand ones (but I don't know where) or save up for a new one. I also need to save up for my cosplays.......... No money :( I need to start tuition soon.

2 weeks to EOY

Whoaaaa I'm now naming my posts according to how far away the cosplay events are.

As we all know, it's the mugging period and I have been mugging, not too fiercely because my papers are nicely spread out this time round, which I'm very thankful for. 

There will be a Kurapika one shot in the first 2 december shounen jump issues, setting the stage for the movie which is slated for release next year Jaunary. 

Woohoo~~~ I almost fainted when I read the about it, but not that crazy over this piece of info because the movie is old news and I've hyperventilated enough over it the past few months. As for the manga 'resuming', I'll actually be more elated if Togashi does a long term continuation of the manga chapters. Still, 8D because I'll get to see my genei ryodan babies kekeke

So I've been happily playing the Be My Princess app on my phone for a few months, if you guys are persistent and like something to do in your free time can give it a try, it's available for both android and iOS. The game developers keep introducing new events and stuff omg becoming so addictive, as if they are bent on making me bury my nose in my phone for at least half an hour each day greeting my mates and so on..  

                          

Context: The girl aka me commented that the bathtub was huge and seemed almost too luxurous  for one person. ASDKJLIEHFILHSEF ^////^ I used to not like prince edward much, he seemed too gentlemanly but now after playing his event, my impression 180 degree change sia! (it's not because of what he said in the picture ok! It was the entire event story)

Ok I think the picture and my ramblings are not giving a very accurate portrayal of the game but nvm 8D

Perfume concert this saturday! After my GEK paper in the morning. Don't think i'll be in the mood to mug from between the paper and the concert so I'll be getting some cosplay stuff done for EOY. 

Speaking of cosplay, after cosfest next year, I'm going to start doing characters chosen out of real interest. Previously, I chose my characters based on the availability of the costumes and stuff, of course I like the characters and they look pretty, but my main driving force wasn't that great. Hope they will turn out well! :) My 'future plan' list at the side keeps growing longer and longer OTL and the newer ones I added are not even from anime....... I wonder who will be willing for form a team with me haha!

My usual thursday post

It was very revolting to read up on zebrafish while having lunch but I still managed to finish up my chicken rice (: 

Finishing up my fishy lab report which is due tmr! Also have a presentation which was supposed to be over on monday but the other groups dragged so it got pushed back to tmr. Ah well :) some friends still have CA this week so I shouldn't complain. 

I'm also going to collect my perfume concert tickets at the afa shop tmr after school activities end :D who's free and wants to hang out/have afternoon tea??

Anyways I went to sell the first wig I ever bought just now, and wore shorts since the event is over and I can let my legs have some vitamin D. Then I fell at the steps while crossing the overhead bridge :( I kept thinking I was like a primary school kid, falling down at my age -__- 

The main point was, I ruined my phone cover and my poor phone got a scratch at the left corner.. it's rough and no longer pretty T_____T really heng my hands are ok, cos I broke my fall with right my right palm too but the skin's intact. Most of the impact fell on my left knee and left hand which was fortunately or unfortunately protected by my phone.

The tissue from the welfare pack which I very intelligently left in my bag came into use brilliantly (Y)

Camwhore pic! From last last week actually lolol I have a few more from my make up tests but i'll save your eyes bah..

And I painted my nails like I said I would :D with my new nail polish and I realised I was using the brush at a wrong angle last time, now that I know how to better apply it, the effect is very nice!

Things seem quite unhappening after afa, having some withdrawal symptoms which are mainly just regrets that I wasn't able to meet more people, look at the exhibits and items for sale haha Nus is going to have it's own anime even together with Ntu next year!!! That sounds really awesome :D

AFA 2012

This was hands down the most tiring event ever but it was so eventful!! But I wish I had better time management and that the handphone reception at expo was better. Super super duper long post! So I'll start off with some complaints as usual ;)

Arrived there earlier than expected and managed to get my ticket. The hall was huge, and it was hard walking from one end to the other because it was too crowded, and my shoes were killing me. Perhaps I didn't study the floor plan well enough, perhaps the management didn't do a good enough job labeling the entry points, I couldn't find the entrance for the festive stage -_- even received wrong directions from a staff. I have leg muscle ache today T__T

The reception was really bad, and I forgot to tell Kyou and the rest to please pick up their phones. As a result, I was separated from the team after finishing my seiyuu event, and again after my interview. Waste time, energy and my phone battery ttm while looking for them.

Also, I would really rather not have a person who's not in the team to tag along especially if he/she causes inconvenience because wants to do his/her own stuff. We can meet and go together, but please go solo after that if you want to do sth that the rest have no interest in.

This time there were a lot of cosplayers, too many I didn't know how to start taking photos so I ended up not taking any.. except of ppl I know and the Genei Ryodan.. Not good :( 

Next up-- Happy stuff :D I SAW DAISUKE KISHIO!!! screamed a lot at him and took photos and videos even though it's not allowed. Nvm, as long as I don't share them in public right? ^_^

Kishio was very very cute on stage though he never really looked in my direction :( though I was sitting in the middle section. He did a voice for the merlion and initially he did that gurgling sound XD and said that the merlion couldn't speak because water was coming out of it's mouth HAHA

Then after his song, he asked for water and while Danny Choo was blocking the camera while Kishio drank, Kishio kept peeping out from behind Danny with ADORABLE EXPRESSIONS. Like O.O and :3 hahahaha I also caught him pouting (idk?? XD) while May'n was being interviewed hehe

Lots of other people were also screaming for Kishio, it was a good sign!! I really hope AFA invites other male seiyuus in the future. Please please please~~

I also managed to find and buy my Dramatical Murder badges, didn't want to get the full set at first but the person told me that it's cheaper to get everything so that was what I did =D I was a few meters away from the booth and checked my goods. Realised that they missed out Mink!! Omg flew back and 'demanded' my Mink haha! With this, I'm planning to start a DMMd cosplay team soon and give the respective badges out to the cosers. 

While looking for Kyou and the rest, I saw the loves of my life, the Genei Ryodan!! Super happy and excited!! And it's very special because there was a Shalnark within the team!!!!! MY LAOGONG~ I took solo shots of them (kuroro, hisoka and shalnark) and then took a shot with Shal kun. Pity I didn't look very nice there but it's ok.

Nope I'm not sorry that I manipulated the photo XDXDXD

I actually went back to find them again after the full team assembled, this time with Bonorenofu and Feitan. Took group shots 8D

Then I went for a scheduled interview with a Japanese professor who flew to Singapore just these few days to give a talk on Japanese pop culture in NUS today and tomorrow. I did her survey on anime and manga perception a few months back and so honoured sia, my answers caught her attention. So she asked me a lot of questions and I had a lot of fun rambling on and on about my love for anime and manga, essentially all my feels. She was so interested in what I had to say about my love hate relationship with Yaoi and voice recorded everything down HAHA first time someone pays so much attention to my anime and manga ramblings (Y) 

We even spoke about seiyuus OMG you know.. seiyuus are really so popular in Japan. The anime and manga fandom overseas may be huge, but love for seiyuus is totally underrated. She asked for my favourite seiyuu cos I told her about Daisuke Kishio and when I said Nakamura Yuuichi, she said 'youkyan'!! She admires Yoshimasa Hosoya alot, and calls him 'Hosoyan'. T___T true blue seiyuu fan there. It was awesome talking to her =DDD 

The poor guy who was with her knows nothing about seiyuus (he doesn't know about yuri either O_o even though he likes anime and manga and draws) and she explained to him that she likes Hosoyan for his voice only, not the appearance. While Youkyan, whom I like, is quite good looking. I was like... O_o because I actually consider Hosoyan to be better looking than Youkyan. I once watched a video of Hosoyan singing and dancing and 被电到 haha

Anyways in the end she gave me a set of tiger and bunny bookmarks. Yay :) but too bad I didn't watch the series because it seems to have too much boy love.

I went out after the interview and was lucky enough to find the rest who had their photos taken by lots of photographers while I was not there T__T it's ok I'll survive.

 I don't have all the photos yet so just sharing what I have on my camera..

 I honestly wish I had nicer lips.. they're so thick me no likey. Time to experiment with lip concealers :P added lip colour to this one, still not too bad :D

Overall, cosplay wise I tried eye shadow make up and lower lashes for the first time and it was passable by my standards. Still got lots to improve though!! Hope the rest enjoyed themselves hehe I was really quite impatient but hey someone has got to play the bad guy right! and Yz arh......... really got to put in more effort and take care of the costume and wigs (really heart pain when I see the state of my wig). 

Still, really need to thank Yz and Kyou for cosplaying together with me. Hope to cosplay together again!! Cos I've been asked to join groups here and there which do not include them. But if I form my own team, I'll definitely leave a spot for yz and kyou~!
