Kitty cafe

I went to a cat cafe kyaaaaaaaa~~

Guys the cats at this cafe are really sweet. While at the entrance, I peeped in and saw this unbelievably marshmallowish kitty sitting under a table by the window and it was love at first sight. I chose to sit at that same table without hesitation even though the kitty had left by then.

My friend and I then proceeded to squeal over the cats and spam photos. Cats are cats lah, they don't quite like to be stroked. The complete opposite of zaizai and almost every dog I've encountered. It was a fun struggle to get the cat's attention and keep her from moving away. I was literally making the strangest and most embarrassing sounds trying to catch their attention and draw them closer. Scratching the floor works, meowing back at them doesn't hahaha

One of my favourite photo.. Playing with this kitty and all was well then all of a sudden she extended her claws and bit me. The claws were painful so I went ouch! And my friend captured that magical moment hahaha -gives award-

Later as we were having lunch, marshmallow kitty came back to the table!! Hehe I was right to choose to sit there!!! Marshmallow sniffing at katsura

She even went back to the same spot where I first saw and fell in love with her. My friend snapped a photo

I'm so broke!!! I need to earn some money!!

I knew something like this was going to happen when my friend said "Hey let's go to Faceshop!" It was only $2.90 -cries- it's so cute! Guys let's meet up on a nice day and do make up + nails for each other. I have a lot of fake lashes and nail polish

From funan anime matsuri.. First day was quite bad for me because I was hoping so hard to get a selfie with Hana and Baozi-- because it's Aoba and Koujaku!! I didn't even get to go within 1 meter of them even after camping outside the meido cafe they were eating at lolol. Second day was much better cos I saw more cosplays I was interested in, but I had to leave early to celebrate fathers day at my grandparents' house.

            

I also realised that I won't be able to go all out during cosfest in July because my relatives are visiting... They were supposed to come last week but kept delaying until the dates right smack clashes with cosfest. It's no one's fault..... But I'm still angry. Come on....................... My mum got so rudely adamant that I bring them around. I was so irritated with her attitude. Now that things have come to this, of course I will bring them around and take care of them hello am I that disrespectful or blindly engrossed in cosplay? At the same time can't she understand that cosfest is a major event in the cos scene and can't she try understanding my disappointment?????? I had planned to stay over at a chalet and even paid for it ages ago, my plans are being disrupted now okay..... 

I guess it's a good thing I didn't have plans with any teams during cosfest (too busy during FYP to join teams), I was feeling oddly unsettled before but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise :/ Actually I can see things working out.. I'll bring my relatives around during weekdays no problem, shop at orchard on saturday and my mum can take over after she ends work in the afternoon. Then I'll go down to the event see see look look and sleep over for one night and go home on sunday afternoon.

I'm not so upset about not being able to cos for the event, but if I don't get to see and hang out with my cosfriends that weekend I'll feel terrible hehehe it's like being left out from the party. Not to mention, there is news that this will be the last cosfest before some major changes take place.

WIP

I've started theory lessons! Hope to get the whole thing over and done with before the end of the year.... I've put off learning driving for too long! So long that everytime I go back malaysia, my relatives ask not about having a bf but whether I've gotten my licence LOL

Went to J's house yesterday with Kai and another new coser for a prop making session. I brought the materials to make shal's handphone. It isn't a very tough prop and I have plenty of motivation for it (my hubby since sec school leh hehe) but I've not been able to sit down and get started on it. I was able to yesterday!! The rest could all sense my happiness because I will be looking at my work in progress and smiling to myself, or squealing silently at my phone while looking at the reference picture. 

At first my symmetry was off and one side was larger than the other and it looked so cute!!! Like a swollen cheek but I forgot to take a photo.. Then I stuck on a piece of foam and painted it the magenta colour which looks lovely XD I spent quite some time at art friend choosing the colour to match my reference photo ^_^

Most of the afternoon was spent carving out the number pad and cutting the buttons. I've not fixed them together so no idea how if the final thing will look okay. I've also remade the wings at the side from cardboard :Db Was telling my friend that it seems like an android phone because its quite a large phone.. and it's good for lao hua ppl because the number pad is huge haha

I'm getting my wig this weekend! A little worried about the wig because I chose to get a wig meant for another character. Hoping to modify it from there.

Going back to singapore tomorrow....

XDXD I had a very nice date last wednesday hehe Xmen was wonderful, dinner was great, we also walked from bugis junction to ps, browsed daiso and looked longingly at the $1 manga at comics connection. We had dessert too during which my mum called to ask when I was coming home (cos going malaysia the next day) I was very bold and initiated a hug when my train came into the station and LOL we were so awkward. I blurted out "你太高了!" because I thought my chin could reach his shoulder but nope. I think he ran away after I entered the train and the guy who was queuing behind me totally gave me a weird look :/

Zaizai is so cute seriously I just want to cuddle and carry him around like a baby. Selfie with zaizai hahaha he's touching my arm!!!!

Lessie is so sweet too!! She's the perfect hot water bottle because my uncle's house is on a hill and it gets chilly when the wind blows. She's like thrice the size of zaizai -- a mini bear.

My favourite blush fell apart last week during the shoot..... Oh wells. Visited sephora in malaysia and bought this lip balm because I didn't want to keep using the super expensive one my mum usually gets when there are cheaper alternatives. Shun bian signed up for a sephora member card :D 

Wanted to try this shot with the first photographer but my posing was so bad I didn't dare to attempt this higher level shot. So I tried it out with a closer friend Makoto who was shooting for fun that day. I didn't prepare a reference photo...Took so many tries cos my right hand was forever looking awkward until leader sama came to correct my pose. Got so tired and sweaty trying to get this and I don't know how to remove the shine on my face so I slapped on a filter hahaha quite a few things I can improve on but I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!! It's another dream pose come true
