Feels surreal

That I'm going to Malaysia the coming Sunday for a week+ it's a sudden trip before mum goes back working full time (she already retired but her assistant is giving birth soon so kena called back). I kept telling her I have like 9 days of leave from last year which will disappear if I don't use. So ya lor, sudden trip to Msia. 

I'm looking forward to the break from work. It's been getting busy and a storm will start after I get back but yea!!! I can do this

Hehe free advertisement for the shop but this is so cute!!! I managed to convince myself not to buy cos it is too small!! Can't fit umbrella or wallet.. Just super cute only.

Back to playing the saxo, at least until the12th sept. Performing for a friend's wedding. Hope everything goes well... We barely have 5 pracs after 2+ years of not playing ohohoho 

Rising blood pressure

The worst looking thing I've made in a long time.. stained my fingers with blue acrylic (I already knew they stain but still didn't wear gloves :X) In addition to being stained, they were hurting so badly the next day cos of all the wire twisting no joke. Bleh the shoot is next sunday.. night shoot please don't drag too long T_T at least my costume is done and fits me quite nicely. SHOES I always forget about shoes though.

Did I mention I'm playing p0k3mon Go? I don't have many rare or high CP catches so far, think my luck with them is below average. Will continue playing while the craze is still on. The motivation to go out is real sia, not that I'm not already out a lot. The game came out last sat, and for the first time on sunday morning, I had the urge to go out to buy breakfast HAHA chose team Instinct because yellow.

Caved in to my mum's nagging and after some encouragement from a friend, I decided to put my stuff up on carousell. Selling my coses at a very very low price lol and though these might be considered nothing, i've caught a glimpse of what ppl call carouhell.

Buyers who change and change meet up dates, and still turn up 20 mins late. Gave me extra $2 in the end but seriously.. what a waste of effort and time. I missed the live Olympics ceremony where our national anthem was played because of this.

Xmm buyers who have no money and bargain when the price is already so low nevermind. Need to reach home by 4pm and cannot meet nvm. But I really bth at the last question she asked, like last straw of the day.

I'm glad ppl are at least interested in my items, there are also polite or non troublesome buyers -_- just hope I meet only sensible and responsible buyers from now on.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY 51 YEARS OLD LO

Both selfies filtered and look at the difference face slimming in the second one makes omg.. My round face was totally emphasized with this wig. Luckily Subaru is still a shota in the Tokyo Babylon timeline. I could have drawn thicker eye lines but ehehe it's over, another dream cosplay done and crossed out at the tracker on the right. Long overdue shoot, supposed to happen earlier this year together with the code geass one! Hahaha on hindsight we would have died quite badly from 2 complex shoots in 1 day. 

Of course I'll be playing.... almost all my friends are playing and it's quite convenient to catch while travelling. The only problem is my lousy GPS which disappears so easily. I was never a huge pokemon fan other than collecting the story books during my primary school days but this game is amazing for so many people who grew up with it. I can see how it's a dream come true for them, being a pokemon trainer :DDDDD

Chanced upon this second hand and bought it whee!!! It's chinese subtitled too! Havent had a chance to verify but the first hand japanese version is always $79 in stores.

It's already end July!!

The line standees outside missha 313. Was looking at the line collaboration lipsticks again but decided to forgo the design-- just get a regular étude house one. I'm so sad they stopped producing the colour changing ones though!!!!! So disappointed. I already bought 2 from that series and wouldn't have bought more until I finished them..... But why discontinue that series :(((((((

The bf's convocation, finally met his dad and going to the zoo with the mum and sis (and him) tomorrow! I asked my mum too but she has like 0 interest in zoos hahaha

His mum and eldest sis are very friendly, the dad didn't speak much and stood around shyly XD the sis even gave me her number and told me I can rant to her about her didi LOL I took half day leave on Friday for this... Would have taken full day but there's work to be done. I almost wanted to nua at home and not make the trip down ahahaha.

Really thankful that he found a job almost immediately and is relatively happy there.

Zzzzzz zzz

Wedding on Saturday! Was quite chill about emceeing but of all times got nervous right at the start and screwed up the intro XD I think my voice wasn't bright enough.. I arrived half an hour late from the meeting time because I started preparing too late and last min tried to print speech lol. Did a hair treatment and a hair cut at the saloon-- they blew dried my hair so nicely as always~~ love my hair that night ^^ did eye liner and put on natural lashes which isn't for cosplay for the first time! My eyes are so smiley I can't make them round

Met with the yyyys and fulfilled my pizza craving yay~~~ we talk about such grown up stuff now Hahahaha :') sry guys didn't rotate the photo before uploading and now I cant rotate it

My new bag! I love it so much and will use it for work too x___x trying to not look too young with it though..

Was on course on mon and tues so it has been a relaxing week so far. Still catching up on work. Going on course again next mon and tues, I think I'll only be able to fully clear the backlog after national day. Hang in there!! Quite a few colleagues are leaving/transferring out of the department recently, by choice of course :(  

The weekend

C0sfest weekend!

Shot the same character 2 days in a row. I looked very skinny on day 1 casual cos of the t-shirt =( worried about the photos. Day 2 was much better cos I was covered up with a jacket and could look cool with all the gaming equipment

Met up with Janice for bingsu!!!! is the spelling correct? This was quite yummy, though I expected the ice to be smoother. I didn't find it too sweet ehehe that tells alot about how sweet my tooth is.

Got introed to this really cute app called snow. It makes me so pretty and cute! I'm so impressed with camera technology, all that face recognition and flattering manipulation. Took one in office when I was feeling drowsy XD

C0sfest was the weekend that just passed and I cosed both days. Didn't stay over at the chalet after all.. traveled to and fro to the other end of Singapore. Unfortunately for us, the weather was exceptionally warm that weekend. I was pretty okay on day 1. Day 2 though!!!!!!!!! The heavier costume and long wig really killed me while I was putting in on in the event toilet. That toilet has no ventilation at all and I had beads of perspiration all over my face and body. I could feel myself roasting in there. Had to leave even before I wore my costume properly..... Ironically my make up held up better on day 2, probably cos I applied much thicker make up and dabbed at my face less.

Day 2 costume was impressive with the mask. I could have done better for all aspects minus the costume. Look more fierce/intense, pose more dynamically and fluff up more of the wig. It looks flat in photos. I challenged myself again and took on a character which shows a bit more chest. I had the option to play safe and cover more but I went along with it -dabs at eye- I held back but still proud that I had the courage to wear the costume like that. I could barely sleep on saturday night cos of the anxiety..

But after last week, I feel that I can like my body slightly more, I have more confidence in how my body looks. Not because I saw my photos or received praise from people, but I was able to pass my own test and dared to present it to the public T ^T
