History notes are killing me

Uploading pictures onto facebook now. Finally, it's friday again. It's been an extremely long week, i had band almost everyday. Oh wait, i do have band everyday. Playing the anthem and school song every morning assembly. Actually more like stumbling my way through the songs =l

The nj uniform is like an oven. I sweated like a pig the 1st day i wore it to school. Managed to keep myslef cool for the next few days and i think i fared pretty well. I only perspired (to the extent of a pig) on 3 occasions. Once on the 1st day when i still wasn't aware of the 'power' of the uniform. The second time was when i spent almost 15 minutes looking for TA21 classroom for my history tutorial. Please lah, no one will ever guess that TA stands for tower A. I kept thinking theatre arts.
The last sweating episode took place today. I had to lug the saxophone from the band room, to the classroom, all the way to the bus stop on the other side and finally up the bus.

I like the fried carrot cake in nj. It's only $1 and you can put an unlimited amount of 'cong'/ 'chong'. I don't know what you call that green thing in english.

NJ is quite boring. I can feel myself turning into a mugger. Free period? ok i'll be at the oasis or library or some random bench mugging. NOOOOOOOOoooooo gimme my life back! But there's nothing to do in school. The library is really..... full of reference books. There's this poster of Tactics along the corridor leading the the books section. Because of that, i was hoping to find some manga/ anime available for borrowing or sth. X__X Thus i conclude that the anime poster was just there to fill up space and to give people false hopes.

Went back to acsi to visit today =D took more pictures but they're all of the same few people. Celestyn invited pam, bao and i to her uncle's house near the school and we slacked there the entire afternoon. Celestyn and i played anime songs on the nice Yamaha piano while pam and bao had fun with the guitars (celestyn's uncle has 3 guitars!) Somehow we ended up talking about our past 'bad' experiences with classmates in school. Poor celestyn, but she's a tough girl to handle haha =D

Actually, orientation at nj was more interesting than the acsi one. Though also more tiring and dirty. Tried on the grey uniform just now. Size 26.5 skirt is slightly too tight so mum wants me to change for a size 27.5. So mafan. We were also argueing over how i should wear the uniform. I thought i would look nicer with the blouse tucked out more, but mum said the opposite. =l

The dance party at nj yesterday night was totally crazy. I've never been so such an event before. It was pitch dark in the hall and everyone was just dancing wildly. In my case, it should be considered as jumping, not dancing. Oh dear, i think i lost weight again from all that exercise.

1st day at nj

Mass dance totally tired me out. I'm going to sleep at 9pm today.

I miss all my ACSI friends and the school itself. When learning the NJ school song, i kept thinking about Oldham. Looking at the boring grey NJ uniform, i realised yet again how much i like the IB tie. I unconcsiously compared everything i see at NJ to ACSI and it doesn't help much that i prefer what i see at ACSI.

Sherin, i'm sorry for mentioning acsi so much. Please bear with me. And to all my NJ friends, please help me overcome this tough period of adjustment. Give me some time.
Went to check out the NJ band and the band ppl were quite enthusiastic about getting new members. Saw many saxophone players, but all in jc 2. Perhaps.. i should join another instrument.

Starving X Tokyo Babylon vs Siddhartha?!

I'm in a relatively better mood today haha. Maybe because i did more than my fair share of stonning at grandparents house yesterday. We 'laoed yusheng' and mum kept dropping carrot strands and sauce on my hand. Even though we were supposed to add raw slices of fish to the vegies (thus the name), my mum refused to. She's had bad experiences from eating raw fish ahaha. Like mother, like daughter =D though my bad experiences didn't come from eating those disgusting creatures.

Urgh X_X something just happened and now i'm so scared i can hardly type. Ok, nevermind, please ignore the previous sentence. I need to find time to catch up with new anime series! Guess how long i've not watched my trinity blood or read any manga. Well, since i have the time now i shall read a chapter of tokyo babylon. By clamp. Pretty old, but it still features the clamp style of drawing which i'm so smitten with.
Interesting fact: Tokyo babylon was produced by CLAMP in year 1991. Subaru was 16 years old then.

So many things happened yet nothing has been decided. I'm feeling so stoned right now.

Still, thankyou to all my classmates who gave me chocolates and flowers on V day! Especially Janice and the nygc ppl XD I was so touched when i received the flowers. Took pictures of them with my new hp (haha) and posted them on facebook.

Came back from band and i can play almost every note on the saxophone now. Though my lips hurt from biting too hard on the mouthpiece, and my hands also hurt from supporting the saxophone, it's all worth it! Infact, i'm not exactly playing the instrument correctly, if not my hands and lower lip won't be hurting. I just need time to get used to everything.

Things are quite sucky. I don't know why i'm feeling this way. I don't know where i'll be posted to if nj doesn't accept me.

But the food was nice and i met up with 413 ppl XD Worth my 25 bucks! Anyway i can afford to spend more with my angpao money. Though i plan to spend most of it on manga.

Hm.. just realised that i don't have time to blog today. So that's it. Ahahaha. I seriously don't want to reveal too much about that guy on my blog so please try to understand where i'm coming from ^_^ I didn't expect you guys to be so interested XD maybe in private i'll tell you more lah.

People, stop egging me on lah!

Whatever, i shall return to my favourite topic, anime and manga 1st. I think i'm suffering from withdrawal symtoms after not getting new manga for so long. I actually dreamt of buying Saiyuki reload manga book 9! I don't even have book 7 yet and i dream of book 9. XD In my dream, i also saw lots of CLAMP magazines and art books. Didn't check the prices, thankfully or my wonderful dream would have ended early.
Told my mum about the dream and she said '日有所思, 夜有所梦' -.- WTH is she not going to do anything about it? I plan to get trinity blood and maybe more art books. Those things cost, not a bomb, but bombs. So i need my mum to sponsor ^_^

Reunion dinner was the same as usual, steamboat at my grandparents' house then watch lots of tv. There was no majong table, and no one brought cards. Eheh, it's a tradition in the Lin family to abstain from gambling. The adults were all at the dining table, chatting. I was prepared for these, from past experiences, so i brought a book to read. Title: Dead Connection. Lol, not very auspicious i know. Reached home around 12 midnight so i missed burst angel and monster X_X But i watched azumanga daioh yesterday and laughed alot XD

Contary to popular beliefs, he does not look like david tao/ have big nostrils/ wear specs. I did not meet him randomly while wondering around the school ok. As you guys know, i kind of brisk walk everywhere with a destination in mind so i don't usually look around while walking; just straight ahead. Thus it is practically impossible that i spot any nice guys in school this way. This is crazy lar! Thankyou Bao, but i don't think it's necessary. I have very good self control. LOL I'm not going to do anything, guys. But don't you think it's sad? It's the 1st crush i have in real life after 4 years and it's going to just fade away.
