What are the chances, was playing the game and pvping real time against all the players in the china server. And the system paired me against the bf XDXD We were using the exact same characters to fight loll He forfeited the battle immediately after it started. But if we were to battle, I really cant tell who would win, because his his rabbit is faster but my yuki has higher freezing rates and my lighter is probably faster.

Busy week at work and it'll only get busier. Starting on something new next week and hope it all goes well! In addition to covering for a colleague. Received cupcakes from a colleague cos I helped to extract some data multiple times.. I felt so bad.... perhaps I only made it seem like a lot of work cos I was bad at it..... :( Also helped in the filming for the coming company lunch so exciting!

I'm still playing yys everyday and waiting patiently for another SSR to come. please please please come already

CNY is coming! Took this photo from the pasar malam near the station. So cute and quite cheap but I have enough plushies already...... No more. Digging out new clothes from my prev shopping spree to wear. I'll prob run out of stock and need to buy more this year for the next cny.

Curtains are coming on tuesday-- this is the living room design. The ones in the room are a medium purple. I finally have proper curtains and don't need to hang up jackets/cloth to block out the sun any more. First time in 25 years. After the curtains come, my house 'reno' is officially completed. Ready for the new year. 

I'm so glad that the toilets are completed, cannot stress enough, it was a very very tough 12 days. Horror story ahead.

1. Dirt dust and sand everywhere

The path from the door to the master bed room, and from the door to the kitchen had a piece of plastic sheet covering it. We wore slippers at those areas and took them off only when entering the bed room or the taped up part of the living room. The sand still flew in anyways (especially in the living room) and whenever I felt sand in my slipper I would feel super grossed out, which was everyday. There was so much dust/fine stone/ whatever the drilling produced, my throat was always dry when I woke up and my nose peeled pretty badly for a week after the reno ended.

         

2. No proper toilet 

a) We had a portable toilet in the kitchen and temporary toilets at the void deck but I only bathed downstairs about 3 times in the entire 10 days. Reach home so tired from work or so late at night already I didn't want to step out of the house again and there might be a queue if you're going during the peak period -_- makes me wonder how many households they're renovating at the same time. Plus I had to pack all the toiletries to bring down and it was so troublesome. Also insecure about meeting people with my hair pinned up and looking so cui lol. The picture looks bad but it was actually better than that. My mum said that some cubicles were filthy tho :( Not bathing downstairs and using the portable toilet was my own choice so I zi zuo zi shou for the below para.

              

b) The portable toilet in the kitchen was super small and had no hot water. It was super dirty as well with all the sand/small stones jamming up the sliding door, making it hard to close and open. The floor was extremely grainy I refused to let my bare feet touch the ground aka wore slippers while bathing. Some times the grainy things still get in tho :((( The toilet bowl was disgusting I could not bring myself to touch it at all, had to half squat to pee every morning. Had to bring toilet paper every time cos there was no place to put a roll of paper. No flush also-- can only use to do small business and use the shower head to give it a good rinse. There was this constant damp smell T__T I got phobia of this smell already. Also brushed teeth using a pail of water from the tap outside. 

3. -ANGERY- lol this renovation was at a very unfortunate period of time-- spanned over christmas and ended one day before new year. Which meant that my new year holiday gone cos need to clean up. 2 holidays fu**ing gone, and I had to live with this for 12 days (other ppl who never kena this period at most only 11 days) in total though it's supposed to finish in 10 working days, due to xmas holiday and the off in lieu. Really full of anger at this... The contractors really should have planned and avoided the holidays. I know they are working and all during this period also but really bad planning, probably to meet the completion deadline. WTH they probably went ahead with this knowing that the unlucky households who kena will complain. My period also came on the 2nd or 3rd day of the renovation and that made things worse.

There is no fair or not fair to talk about but I do blame the planners for choosing to continue during the festive period, did they not think about the inconvenience for the households who kena this timing? They could have started renovation on the block earlier and finished the whole area earlier. We did the voting months ago and waited for so long with no news. 

wth the more I describe the more angry I get. I know it's super whiny :(((((((((( Need to be more appreciative of what I'm blessed with and not get so agitated over such things. Glad I have this place to rant.

New year new things

I've a few highlights this post, the past week!

Obtained the new year bird skin~ I thought it was never going to come.. ^^

I shared about this set on facebook earlier last year but didn't join in my friend's jio to buy the whole set as I was only aiming for the Gokus, especially the Seiten Taisei version and she wanted the same.

Saw the kuji for sale last week at ps with only 1 box out of the whole set gone. That means a higher chance of getting Goku unless that missing box already contained him.. It was exp sia at $18 but I still went ahead. When I opened the box and saw the light color hair I already knew it was Sanzo, would have preferred the modern version but nvm~~ The bf selected another box for me and paid for it too. I opened it and my heart jumped for joy when I saw the dark brown spikey but had to calm myself cos it could be Hakkai.... Extremely lucky that it turned out to be Goku, and the Seiten version XDXDXD now I have a matching pair from the same period, I couldn't ask for more. They are now in office looking at me as I work.

Toilet renovation done!!!! Left is the bedroom toilet and right is the kitchen toilet. The family did a whole lot of cleaning after that, I also had to pack my room and shift everything out as we were repainting the whole house. So dusty omg I never knew the room was so dirty.

Abit not happy with the end colour but nvm already done and I don't hate it, just think that blue is so obiang. The new fridge and washing machine coming next tues and new curtains next next tues! 

After that we'll be ready for CNY

Merry Christmas!! Such a cute deco put up by my colleagues. 

Met the bf yesterday and we went to the gudetama cafe. Neither of us checked the exact location and took us quite long to walk from one end to the other and back again lolll. We started to queue at around 2+ and managed to get a seat within an hour. The order was taken in advance and we received the food quite promptly. The food was so good!! Was expecting mediocre food cos the food at pompompurin cafe was average but this was so good! 2 food orders and a drink came up to $58 in total. I wouldn't go back again but I would recommend my friends to go at least once :D before the novelty dies down and the food standards drop. 

I walked past etude house at suntec..... saw a bunch of lipsticks under the 'promotion' sign. Cannot tahan and went to check out the price-- they were 50% off and my heart jumped for joy. Usually $17 and now only $8+ Chose these 2 colours with the bf's input though I think he just wanted me to faster buy so he can go toilet. I'm back to my usual colours pink and coral. They look so pretty I can't even bear to wear them.... But once I start then don't care already lah. I think these are old stock so the base might not be very firm but it's ok~~~~

We finished a light dinner at fish&co and he suddenly put a box on the table. I didn't prepare a gift though and was quite paiseh. He insisted on me wearing it on the ring finger even though it's not a proposal HAHA and it's obviously too big for that finger.  

If you guys watched the movie "your name", this ring was inspired by the comet fragments which appeared in there. I actually saw the bf commenting on a mutual friend's jio post to order together. But he always feign ignorance when I ask about it. Hehe quite sweet of him this time.

My phone is dying because I'm playing 2 memory heavy games again, left with less than 1gb of memory space, Ive been deleting photos and even deleted whatssap+fb messanger. Mystic messenger has this Christmas 2 days event/route and the stories are so sweet......... I downloaded it back no regrets. Will delete it again after I finish all routes though... That will take about 1 week.

Toilet is still undergoing renovation....... I've kinda gotten used to it aka no hot water, no pooping at home and all the extra dirt around T__T my period came on the 2nd day of renovation cry cry. Ending (renovation i mean) the coming saturday I really can't wait 

I don't want toilet renovation....

Guys both my toilet renovations will be starting next tuesday and my parents have been working hard to seal up the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. I helped too but not as much.. Fingers crossed for a smooth sailing and speedy 10 working days. After that will be a full house painting job.

Christmas is coming and I've prepared little cards for the team and lunch group colleagues. Received some gifts and this macaroon is so cute! Sold at raffles city. I was a little disappointed that the mini oreo was soft and not the crunchy fresh one though. Nvm the cuteness makes up for it.

 

After a colleague went to the doggie cafe at bugis and shared his wonderful experience, I couldn't tahan and reserved a slot the very next week. The bf and I went on thursday after dinner and it was more crowded than I had expected on a weekday night. The dogs were rather cute, smelt alright and really greedy. They would roam around non-stop in search of people with treats to give. No food no dog hahaha some of them were sad and lay at near the door but most of them were active. Some more gentle than the others but mostly greedy XD There were about 9 doggies that night, 2 more than the 7 usually featured in their posters. 

I was biased towards the zaizai dog (her name is lulu) and I managed to get her to sleep on my lap without much effort. She's really territorial though LOL she would start growling when other dogs came near or if I fed them. HAHAHA super cute. She left the 'comfort' of my lap once to roam around but very cutely asked to come up again after about 10 mins.

The owner of some of the dogs came about 1 hour into our visit and unfortunately Lulu belongs to him. She promptly left me and went to him with no hesitation. She also stayed with him for the rest of our visit :( hahaha it's ok lah his appearance cheered up one of the really emo doggie (the one on the most right) and I'm glad. 

Overall $10.90 for 2 hours on a weekday (mon to thurs) with a free drink is worth it because you get to interact with so many different type of dogs. Safer to call and reserve cos I've seen many reviews on fb where people got turned away due to the max capacity being reached. I really miss zai zai and the attention he gives whether or not you have food XDXD

Met up with some band friends and we rediscovered this super nice duck confit. Last time the cafe was at kallang area but it moved and I never tasted it again. Now we know it's at dhoby ghaut and a few more branches around. yummm

Everyone's going to Taiwan!! I'm going next year, tickets already booked and the taipei stay also settled via airbnb. Trying to figure out tai chung.. We have 2 days there I appreciate recommendations on where to stay and what to see there... 

update again

It's been some time since my last update and I just uploaded some photos from my phone.. not in chronological order but nvm lah. I'm seldom on my laptop other than to watch anime and the blogger app for ios is quite unstable so it has become hard to update... plus so busy!

Took monday off after the afa weekend-- bumped around and did my nails with the nail stickers I bought from a friend. Looks easy but I spent 1 hour on each hand ahhhhh I'm usually very fast w nails but this wasn't easy. They lasted for a week, scratched them off on 2 days ago

                     

 

AFA weekend was great! I had a simple cos on saturday minus the board and sunday was a dream cosplay come true. I only took one selfie and it was with yufei's sis! Haha super amazed at her prop making skills and that she was able to spot me among the crowd. I didn't even get to see all my friends sia and she found me hahaha -thumbs up-

Saturday's cos was fun and many people gawked at my board. It was stress-free cos I only drew the board, made the apron and bandana and typed out his name tag to stick on. I was cosing as a guy dressing up as a maid. LOL I didn't look as gay as I wanted though. Check out my slippers...

Sunday's make up looked good at home, I was able to elongate my eyes more than usual. The costume though omggg it was so stuffy and wind resistant. I sweated off the details of my make up... I also looked strange in my smiles that day. Will do better during the shoot. Was kinda fangirling over the bf cos I really like his character alot. Didn't have much photos taken with him though, mostly selfies and with unknown fangirls. 

$50 spent in all.. It's my first time spending so much during AFA.. I'm happy with my buys and will be hanging up the posters after my house toilets renovations and paint job. Woohoo! Finally I can have clean walls.

Oh yea I also caught my ditto, I have 2 already. My first and only 10km egg hatched an evee... I am disappoint and will prob delete the game soon

AFA in 1 week!!!!

Writing this post immediately after posting the previous one ahaha clear backlog and must post about the YYYYY's first overseas trip together! 

 I'm so glad it turned out well~! Bus wasn't too exp-- $56/pax! The ride was smooth, we all had seats + no one had to sit alone and customs queue was shorter than expected! Definitely entering msia via Tuas in the future, no more squeezing at woodlands which is always crowded. 

I have no complaints about the hotel especially since we only paid $36/pax for it! Near to the malls, and to many movies to choose from in the room tv! I was totally spoilt for choice, it was just too bad I didn't notice pacific rim earlier.. would have chosen it over the random johny depp cowboy movie. 

I would have wanted to spend more time together as a whole group.. but kinda hard for a short trip like this and when the bfs are around haha girls only trip next time ok! 

                                               

The bf didn't get to see our funny side... next time must make him laugh with our powers

Oh yea another present! wanted to bring her on the trip but forgot!! Left her in her plastic bag on the sofa instead :( maktub

My saturday plan hahahaha i've just cut out the cloth for teh bandana and apron.. Just need to sew a little bit! And draw out the door.
