Stairway to heaven is extremely sad

Today's episode made me tear uncontrollably. Urgh

Band tryout! Yes, baocheng, you're right about trying all the instuments before choosing one. Was with 2 other nice RV girls who are also in my chinese A2 class. We didn't get to try all the instruments sadly cos the instructors were leaving when i arrived. Let's see, i tried (in chronological order) the eufonium, french horn, trumpet, saxophone, flute and clarinet. I succeeded in producing and sustaining a sound for the eufonium and french horn. As for the trumpet.............. i failed to make any sound cos the mouthpiece was smaller in size and i was not able to 'fart' into it. =( The sec 1s who were there with us to try instruments were pro lor! It appears to me that they can make that farting sound with their mouth very well. Maybe they practised alot at home. =l
ANYWAY it seems that i scored exceptionally well for the saxophone so aha~ so it's possible that i end up with the saxophone ^^ JAZZ!! Oh yes, the saxophone instructor resembles my tuition teacher(whom i've not seen for a long time ever since Os ended) so much that I couldn't help staring. I almost expected him to say 'Yimin! How was your Olevel physics and math?' Ahaha *very amused*
As for the clarinet, all 3 of us scored well so i guess the clarinet is kinda 'idiotproof' plus the instructor commented to the vice chairman who was bringing us around that they already have many studetns in the clarinet section.

Overall, it was fun! I want to try the instruments again, especially the trumpet, flute and saxophone!!! Hey yufei, your mouth piece was dirty lor, my lips were slightly swollen that night after using your mouth piece. The acsi ones are newer and since i feel fine + my lips did not swell, i conclude that they're are cleaner too.

The more i see the acsi IB tie, the more i like it. =l After reading wenyi's post and hearing yufei complain about the NJ boys i want to make a comment. Guys at acsi don't have BO and they do not stink at all even after PE. Maybe it's because the whole school is air-conditioned so sweat evaporates quickly. This school may well be the number 1 contributer to global warming in singapore; the aircon temperature is set soooo low that it's like the northpole X_X
