Movies adapted from manga are cool!

We see alot of these movies around nowadays. The current one is Kurosagi. And nope, it isnt about kurosagi ichigo in bleach haha -__- nvm no one gets the joke.

I've also seen the advertisement for 20th century boys on tv! WOW the moment i saw the sign i was like '!!!!!' Haha it was abit of an over reaction for my part cos i'm not a great fan of the manga. It's quite an old series so the art doesnt appeal to me much. The art was done by the same guy who did Monster. I've mentioned monster in one of my previous post, intriguing plot but again the graphics turn me off.. Yup, this is the sign i mentioned earlier. I dont know what it means cos i didnt read the manga but it's quite well known. Enough for me to recognise the movie after spotting it. Looks freaky ne? XD

I chanced upon Kurosagi few months before promos and started reading it. Quite excited that the movie's out haha such a nice coincident. About swindlers and it's super cool. The actor looks better than the manga character XD

Dragonball live action movie's coming too. This, i'm disgusted. They're just using the names and abilities of the manga characters, to attract more audience and attention. The actors in the movie looks nothing like the manga and i dont think dragonball is suitable to be adapted into a movie anyway. Let's just see how goku does his KAMEHAMEHA or goes into his super saiyan mode. =( Nevermind, the movie might turn out to be a great hit despite my pessimist views.

Watching sousei no aquarion now.. the dubbed version cos i cant find the subbed ones anywhere. After watching so many anime series, i find it hard to doubt that shouting really makes one stronger. Look at dragonball.
Goku: 'AARRRRRGHGHGHGHHHHHHHHHH!!!' then he goes into his super saiyan form.

Sousei no aquarion is full of shouts too. Walao, it sounds even worse cos i'm watching the dubbed version. Every move the characters make, they have to shout -__- i feel like i'm going deaf lah

The main character, Apollo is so good looking ^///^ it's not the bishie kind of face.. but still very attractive ehehe. He and sagara from full metal panic (fmp) belong to the same face type. I prefer Sagara though, he's more naive and cute XD also, both anime have their fan service parts but fmp presents it more tastefully while aquarion just thrusts it in your face.. Wont post any spoilers here but i was abit disgusted by how the various characters look when they merge to form the different aquarions. Ew. It's .... -__- I'm sure many crazy fangirls will exploit that part and turn it into some hentai fanfic.

Music aspect. Wonderful soundtrack, yoko kanno was involved in the composition of some of the songs. No wonder XD The name yoko kanno might sound foreign to you guys but to anime music lovers, she is viewed like a god. Yes, her compositions are that good. So good that i watch any anime which has her compositions. Well anyway, i'm just trying to say that aquarion has awsome songs.

Now to the most important part, the plot. It suits my taste, which explains why i'm putting up with the dubbed version and the in-your-face fanservice. Shadow angels, a winged humanoid species, capture and kill humans on earth to get their life forces. This teenager, Apollo, was discovered to be the reincarnation of Apollonius, also known as the "Solar Wing", who has betrayed the "Shadow Angels" for his love, Celiane. That took place 12 thousand years ago and now he has to fight the shadow angels by piloting vectors and along with other ppl who have the ability to pilot vectors to save the world. (i sincerely apologise for the lousy summary)
It has mecha and some romance (though not mentioned in the summary) and a good looking protagonist. Ahaha i sound so superficial. Aquarion's definitely not the best in it's genre but it's better than the crap anime i'm facing nowaways. Janice! You can add this to your watchlist, but remember to finish the other series 1st =D

Post promo modifications

require large intake of anime and manga thus has to take place in front of a computer XD Some pre-requirements though, like finishing pw stuff.

I'm happy with bio and gp, followed by history then math and lastly chemistry. I actually dreamt of history yesterday. Like most dreams, it was really strange... expecially the conversation with my southeast asia teacher before receiving the results. Anyway i scored very high, 40+ upon 50 which is technically impossible this time cos my arguement for the 1st question wasnt sophisticated enough and i kinda lost it for the last few paragraphs of the 2nd question. Nevermind, hopefully my international section can pull my marks up. If i do just as badly for international, i'm really lousy cos i managed to spot both questions.

Natsume XD it's so sweet, soothing and funny. Janice, here's another anime to add to your must watch list. Now that i've finished both seasons of SZS, i hope to continue watching baccano, which i stopped a few months ago. Nice jazz soundtrack! XD

Listening to korean songs from various korean dramas previously aired on tv. Touching melodies, so much better than the current crap anime songs except for a small handful. Haha maybe it's time for me to take a break from anime SONGS. Not anime or manga. Tuned in to watch animania on arts central on both thurs and friday. =l nothing new, same boring stuff. Shakugan no shana and zero no tsukaima on thursday, D gray man and samurai deeper kyo(which is ending soon) on friday.

Good variety, i'm glad they're not repeating what they have shown previously anymore haha. But dont you think it's weird that whoever's in charge chose tsukaima season 3 when they didnt even show seasons 1 and 2? Oh well, i guess brainless anime like that doesnt need viewers to have much background knowledge about the previous seasons. The songs arent even good and ... the story just doesnt agree with me. I wonder why it was so popular in japan. Oh no, i hope no tsukaima fans read this or i'm going to get flamed badly. I would flame anyone who critisizes hxh so horribly on their blog too =X

As for shakugan no shana.. ................ No comments cos i think it's still acceptable. Songs and graphics are good, plot is decent. I just find it too long. But that doesnt mean i'm going to watch it

T__T What happened to the times when they showed better series like 12 kingdoms, hellsing or last exile? I wont even mind desert punk though it's so ecchi-ish. Perhaps the quality of anime in general is going down. We need more anime like sayonara zetsubo sensei!! XD Get rid of the cliche, boring and meaningless anime!

On another note, when will suzumiya haruhi season 2 be released T__T I want more clamp goodies! Mōryō no Hako coming soon =D

At least GP's over and i think it was rather ok haha as in i think i wrote an essay more sophisticated than my usual standards. Study break from today till next monday and i plan to focus on history for today and half of tmr. Then math for another 1.5 days. The remaining half of saturday and sunday+ monday will be spent on chem and bio with a proportion of 7:3

ANYWAY yes, since i'm on the comp and blogging, i'll watch the new episode of natsume and continue zoku sayonara zetsubo sensei (ZSZS) =D I'll mug for the rest of the afternoon and at night so it's ok to take a little break now. I'll also take a little break tmr at the same time. T__T this way of convincing myself that everything's fine doesnt seem to work too well.

Started watching sayonara zestubo sensei this week. And it's super funny, even as good as gintama XD But i still prefer gintama cos you dont have to use your brain at all while SZS is slightly more cheem. Ahaha here's a screen shot showing the randomness:
