Watching sousei no aquarion now.. the dubbed version cos i cant find the subbed ones anywhere. After watching so many anime series, i find it hard to doubt that shouting really makes one stronger. Look at dragonball.
Goku: 'AARRRRRGHGHGHGHHHHHHHHHH!!!' then he goes into his super saiyan form.

Sousei no aquarion is full of shouts too. Walao, it sounds even worse cos i'm watching the dubbed version. Every move the characters make, they have to shout -__- i feel like i'm going deaf lah

The main character, Apollo is so good looking ^///^ it's not the bishie kind of face.. but still very attractive ehehe. He and sagara from full metal panic (fmp) belong to the same face type. I prefer Sagara though, he's more naive and cute XD also, both anime have their fan service parts but fmp presents it more tastefully while aquarion just thrusts it in your face.. Wont post any spoilers here but i was abit disgusted by how the various characters look when they merge to form the different aquarions. Ew. It's .... -__- I'm sure many crazy fangirls will exploit that part and turn it into some hentai fanfic.

Music aspect. Wonderful soundtrack, yoko kanno was involved in the composition of some of the songs. No wonder XD The name yoko kanno might sound foreign to you guys but to anime music lovers, she is viewed like a god. Yes, her compositions are that good. So good that i watch any anime which has her compositions. Well anyway, i'm just trying to say that aquarion has awsome songs.

Now to the most important part, the plot. It suits my taste, which explains why i'm putting up with the dubbed version and the in-your-face fanservice. Shadow angels, a winged humanoid species, capture and kill humans on earth to get their life forces. This teenager, Apollo, was discovered to be the reincarnation of Apollonius, also known as the "Solar Wing", who has betrayed the "Shadow Angels" for his love, Celiane. That took place 12 thousand years ago and now he has to fight the shadow angels by piloting vectors and along with other ppl who have the ability to pilot vectors to save the world. (i sincerely apologise for the lousy summary)
It has mecha and some romance (though not mentioned in the summary) and a good looking protagonist. Ahaha i sound so superficial. Aquarion's definitely not the best in it's genre but it's better than the crap anime i'm facing nowaways. Janice! You can add this to your watchlist, but remember to finish the other series 1st =D
