A reflection on these past 3 days

I realised that working as a promoter does not subject you to the wrath of customers as much as a cashier does. Infact, most of them were really polite in declining my 'advances' and I actually enjoy seeing them smile and say no thanks when spoken to :)))

It was physically more tiring than the cashier job though.. and since my job ended yesterday, I didn't bother drinking honey or barley after work---- had no voice when i woke up today. Horrified and swallowed a spoonful of honey!!! Haha my voice is better already, though still hoarse. Singing is unthinkable right now..

Nothing too interesting happened: very friendly (flirty) cashier, indecisive customers who appear a few hours later to grab alot of products when they said no before, and random ppl reading off the working tag I was wearing O_o At least 2 guys muttered the company name (which was on the tag) when I was walking around.
I think uncles in general tend to do that. Once i was wearing this t shirt with a panda on it, and this uncle mumbled to himself 'xiong mao' when i walked past him LOL

I'm also amazed at the amount of slimming products people are willing to spend on. Those were no doubt the best selling, followed by hair volumizing products.. The skin care products aren't that popular. I myself wanted to try the toner but decided against it in the end cos I like my current one =DD

Overall, the money is good by my standards but I will not, as much as possible, take up a similar job which focuses so much on sales in the future. It's good if customers buy but I can imagine the stress if they don't. This job is tougher than the nivea one (refer to the work tag at the bottom) and has crazy working hours.. Can't imagine working like this long term X_X

and i missed cosfest.
