2 weeks to AFA O_O

I've done my chinese essay, protein group report and cardio assignment 1! Started on molecular biotech report too. The only pending work is cardio assignment 2, science fiction story and GEK report which I have very little control over because some of my group mates are late in submitting their part. Already being very nice by compiling and bugging them in a non threatening manner.

It makes my blood boil whenever they're so unresponsive. It's ok if they're unresponsive but send me the stuff on time. BUT NO, delayed day after day wth. Hello... I'm very busy too okay, you have no right to submit late and then wash your hands off after you did your part (provided you even submit your part of the report). But when I start composing the email or sms to tell them a piece of my mind I sound so freaking civil and unthreatening that I surprise myself because I was really angry and angsty when I started composing the message. The final message even sounds pitiful -___- well whatever works cos they all replied after that.

This made me realise that even though I love all the starry sky guys, I don't love Azusa and Kanata as much as the rest

Edit: This result is better!! :D just noticed the 'you best friend' though and wth.. lover, boyfriend, happy end are all different guys. What is wrong? ..... nothing at all :D

Oh yea the Ys were talking about horoscope on whatssap recently. I don't quite fancy Carpricorns irl but I lurrrve Capricon aka Yoh kun in the game. Because of his voice and pretty face lololol.  Taurus and Aries are my favourite :D I would marry either of them.. really!! Sorry Yufei your sagging I mean Sagittarius character in game, Azusa, is one of my last choices along with Pisces. The Gemini character is the creepiest out of the gang and has a long neck. Aquarius is a very very cute character in game, eccentric too HAHA! Just as yufei described.

The voice actor for Leo is coming (elaboration in my previous post) and i'm so excited because AFA is coming really really really soon!

I managed to get the wig to look nicer but the pony tail at the back is still.... not ideal. The problem about a single pony tail is that it's hard for it to always show up on photos. If it doesn't, I'll look like Ciel from Kuroshitsuji especially with the eyepatch hahaha!!! Must figure out how to clip it on such that it shows and doesn't pull on the base wig too much.

When I took off the outfit, the teeshirt I was wearing inside was 40% soaked. Help. And hey look! That's my saxophone by the side, haven't return yet =X

KISHIO IS COMING TO SINGAPORE FOR AFA

Long long post cos I have lots to talk about :D and i'm in a very good mood! Going to be really really busy the coming week/weeks.. Reports, assignment, chinese essays and more! Good thing is that I'm quite motivated. But I realised today that motivation =/= productivity... Got so distracted all day. 

Was distracted in the afternoon when AFA announced that Daisuke Kishio will be coming to Singapore, as a guest for AFA. When I saw his photo, I had to remind myself that it was on fb, not tumblr where seiyuus fill my dash all the time. And that it was AFA which posted the photo, and  at this time of the year AFA usually posts about guests who are attending the event or will be invited in the future.

and I'm totally laughing at this convo I had with my senior on fb last month.

My senior's going to rich since her friend said she'll give her all her money LOL

He's not coming to promote an event, so most probably he won't be doing any fun stuff. But heyyy it's a very very good start for Singapore! More seiyuus may be coming XD I'm pleasantly surprised because AFA gave no clues that they were planning on inviting a seiyuu in the past. At least for Perfume, they posted a video to test the waters early this year.

Not too much details announced yet so I can't plan my day at AFA yet. Though I'll definitely be getting the $20 ticket which includes stage access, and I'll definitely be going on Saturday (same as my initial plan so yayy)

If there's one thing that's bugging me, it's that I have no merchandise for him to sign on, wellllll not that there's going to be an autograph session ( well, maybe 8D). I'd much rather have a photo taken with him anyways and I'm honestly not familiar with Kishio's anime roles, it's his otome game roles and drama cds that i'm crazy over but the otome game market is so small here so any Kishio merchandise that's on sale during AFA will most prob not be related to his otoge characters.

NVM I'M HAPPY, REALLY ELATED. This will be my motivation to stay happy until the event is over.

Next thing which may become my motivation: Perfume concert! 

Physical tickets were sold out so quickly after the sales started, I stood no chance. I went to ballot for a single general admission ticket. And the process was so simple that i'm gravely worried that tons of half-hearted people will be balloting as well, decreasing my chance of getting a ticket. Ballot results will be out next next week I think, through email ;___; what would I give to wake up to an email in my inbox ARGHGHGH please please please.

Anyways went with Yz on thurs to daiso to get black gloves and some other stuff and then to her house to try on the outfits. Managed to solve some problems and all's looking good! Except for the eye patch which is too big for my face. And it's really quite uncomfy to have the patch covering my eye.  

See I can't even open my other eye properly -_- what am I going to do about the make up for the other eye? Just do one eye and leave the other bare? I'd look hideous. If I do make up for both eye, the covered eye make up might smudge and I'd look hideous too. 

One thing for sure, even i I do make up for both eyes, fake eyelashes for the covered eye is a nono and that alone is enough to me look weird when I dont wear the eye patch. Yz's abit concerned about her 'fats' cos the stomach is exposed for her costume. HAHAHA jiayou gymming!!

Post concert

Omigosh a week has zoomed by just like that.. Concert is over!

Thank you to the Ys for coming to support!! And the beautiful roses~~ I will be really sad when they start to droop. My mum told me to put them on my table so I can admire them more but as you know.. I don't allow much sunlight to enter my room so I left them in the living room instead.

                                    

Concert gifts preparation this time was significantly faster, maybe i've become more pro at putting the stuff in and twisting the metal thingy. The plastic bag was so pretty! But too small so I couldn't put more things inside haha

                                     

With my conductor and I look like a mad person here cos I was running here and there before the concert. Prepared a gift for him too :) maybe he will give it to his grandchild XD

With Daphne my primary school classmate!!! We've known each other since primary one and kinda lost touch after moving on to secondary school and I was so surprised when she tagged me on fb that she was at the concert :D 

Overall the concert had very fresh elements like the awesomely cool perc ensemble and the gimmicks for the encore piece plus the very interesting emcee HAHA previously the concert was under the arts festival and we were under tight control by the management so we were not allowed to make it too informal. I'm glad it was a more interactive concert this time :DDD

Almost a litre of tears

I had a bad dream last night. The band was performing at the esplanade library, where I played piano accompaniment to the sax duet last time. We spent a long time tuning and I was getting worried. Then we started performing one of the pieces we've been practicing and suddenly my only section mate was on the soprano saxophone, leaving me to solo the melody. I couldn't react in time and missed the whole part and it sounded terrible. 

We played like.. 2 songs and the management started chasing us off the stage cos we took too long. I was already close to tears on stage from the anxiety because we practiced so many other songs and only got to perform 2. Then somehow I realised in my dream that this wasn't the real concert and felt a little better. Still, while I was walking to the MRT to go home in the dream, I couldn't stop crying :(((

I've been sleeping rather late and getting low quality, dreamless sleeps for quite a few nights already. Was kinda hoping for a dream haha it came true but alas it was a nightmare..

As if the dream was a premonition, I cried during band practice today.. As you know, I really admire, respect and love my 70+ year old conductor since I joined the band in JC and I continued joining the band in uni partly because of him also being the conductor there. 

He has been feeling unwell since the semester started and today he took some time to explain to the band the reason for his late coming and early leaving, and why he was absent on some days. I got all teary eyed and could totally feel a blocked nose coming. I wouldn't have cried if he didn't elaborate but he did and as I listened to him talk about how he was unsure of whether he could still take us for the coming concert next week and how he went back to teach yesterday to test if he was fit enough for all these despite his doctor scolding him and all, I started crying. He actually had a minor surgery two days ago and he said right to the point before he became unconscious during surgery he was still thinking about the music for the concert. 

I was shaking in my seat trying very very hard not to sob out loud. It was quite bad cos my section mates probably didn't know what to do lol and i'm very sure the conductor could see me. I mean he's standing in front all healthy and fine but there I was crying like something extremely bad happened -__- didn't dare to look at my conductor properly after that haish.. Don't even want to think about how ugly I looked X___X and darn typing all these made me cry again..

It's a tradition that the SLs need to prepare a card for the conductor every concert. Anyways here's the card I painstakingly made for my conductor, made another one for the assistant conductor but it's not as nice and I forgot to take a photo haha.

So pretty right, I like it a lot too. It's really not bad a finished product given how i'm mad lousy at art and drawing. The colours made it look good and I have decent cutting skills :) 

A bit of Akazukin

Hi guys! Post recess week has been okay, I did more revision this week than the last (rushing reports then). But my group work for the search for life module!! Urgh so irritating... And I need to do well for this GEM cos I can't SU it anymore.

Met up with the Ys! I realised JP has a lot of food places, we don't have to go to the ground floor every single time hahaha next round let's go up to the 4th floor and eat at ben 10!

The random gel we cut up at the end of the practical. Whenever I see a gel, especially one that I made, I have this strong urge to cut into it with a scalpel. And then mash it up together. Roll it violently to bits. Chew it through thoroughly. Burn it with fire. O_O

Leaving Black wolves saga to one side, I started playing Akazukin. When I first developed an interest in japanese otome games at the start of the year, this was the first game I read about, and I was honestly very fascinated by it. I watched the opening sequence a few times and decided that it's one of the games out of my reach because I couldn't understand japanese. Then came DRAMAtical Murder and my recent discovery of all the translating programmes. So yeahhhh! And I don't think I'll be posting anymore on this game so i'll just dump the screenshots here today!

Kitsune kun was really adorable!! The way he was jumping up and down out of jealousy XD kyahaha!!

So I think i'm quite close to completing Ookami san's good route and it hasn't impressed me much. Too bad.. cos I really like his character design and sprite, my favourite out of the rest.

He bends down to look at you in the eye while talking sometimes, very nice :) 
Ookami has some very sweet moments here and there which honestly resulted in me day dreaming in school, I even caught myself smiling LOL. But the very next day I was extremely thrown off by his terrible behavior which came out of nowhere. Can't be salvaged =/ 没救了

 So since motivation for this game is really low, I'll just be trying one route per guy because at least the voice acting cast is good XD

So I was looking through the photos kyou took and this one suddenly caught my eye! I need to practice my non-smiling expressions. But this one not bad quite cute right! Other than my face being a different colour from my hands X_X next time i'll try baby powder on my arms.. wonder if it will work.

Recess week

I finished one and 1/3 of my 2 reports, revised and watched macross frontier. Got myself two more otome games (more power to my backlog of games!) My slackest recess week ever =X

Won a giveaway on tumblr for Heileen 2 :D but I haven't heard from the wonderful owner after the first contact, so i'll post more after that whee~

Tuition has stopped and there goes my source of income... not good when I will be spending quite a bit for the rest of this year.... I've decided to go for Perfume's concert, because I will definitely regret if I don't :) 

Because of this, I've decided to not go for any of the AFA anisong concerts, giving up TM Revolution, Flow and Minami Kuribayashi........... Don't care much for the rest hahaha. If Kotoko came for AFA though, that would be a really tough choice. I might just choose Kotoko over Perfume XD 

Speaking of concerts.... NUSWS is having a concert on the 17th of October wednesday 7.30pm at Singapore Conference hall! It's a south and north america theme, which I don't quite get but the songs are really catchy this time, so guys please come and support :D

So I mentioned I started watching Macross Frontier, jumping on the band wagon rather late but better late than never lah. And I was already listening to macross music in the past, so I wasn't missing out on too much. It all started with the intention to cosplay Ranka Lee, but I got so interested in Alto, the male protagonist. So Alto it is XD he looks so attractive in his school uniform omg someone help me breathe. AND NAKAMURA'S VOICE ^//////^ It's a distant plan, but I hope i'll look really handsome hahaha!

NUSCAS cosplay photoshoot

So thankful for my free day! T___T long post coming up with lots of pictures!

And so NUSCAS first photoshoot was held last saturday at Utown and it was a very last minute plan but I went as Shizuo gender bend version along with a very pretty Izaya-- Terenz whom I've only met twice (once to borrow the vest on friday) but was soooooo enthusiastic and greeted me with a hug XD Kyou also came to take photographs. 

Our photographer was Nicholas, and let me tell you he was so patient and nice! I was very worried before the shoot that our photographer would be the cool and aloof kind-- scary cos i'm really noob at posing and all that but Nicholas was very easy going and went along with out antics XD and he took such great photos too! 

Learnt so much from this photoshoot, including how to look like a guy because I totally looked like one lolol!! No eyeliner (falsies are ok) and thick eyebrows. Next time I know! :D 

Overall it was neither a good wig nor make up day, but the sun, good photographers and my pretty Izaya saved me! XD

Also I realised I need to kinda tape the wig down to my face next time if it has a tendency to stick out. It made my face look really fat :( The photos here don't show it cos I chose the nicer ones haha

Terenz told me that it's necessary to wax the stray hair so they don't peep out from under the wig. Why didn't I think of that OTL time to use some hair products, for wigs too. It was a pity I didn't get to pick up any wig styling tips from the rest but there's always trial and error hahaha
