Yea, but i went on facebook battle stations only to find my ship sunk (again) and i salvaged it only yesterday -__- Getting sunk, that's what i do best.
I'm kinda down with a sore throat, it hurts to swallow. Considered ponning band but decided against it cos i couldn't bear to leave my darling saxophone ahaha. I should give it a name. Senior suggested er min X___X since i'm also crazy about the erhu. Ehh.... i'm sure there are better names around. Erm, i can play the low notes better now =D thanks wenyi!
This week is holiday week ! We had a half day today even though it wasn't so for band members and some other performing art ppl. No school on thursday and next monday cos of labour day and college day respectively. Friday is almost like a half day cos school ends at 12.30 for me. Am i lucky or what =D
Finished watching nodame cantabile. Piano competitions make me feel terribly stressed, even if i'm not the one performing. I plan to continue with Dogs manga and gintama anime next week.
Right. PI. NCP (the PI teacher) didn't respond to the email i sent him arghhghghghg. I'm so glad i didn't get him for my math tutorial teacher

Low notes kill
I can play them while going down a scale, but to play anything lower than a F on the sax spontaneously is still beyond me. I've got to tilt foward specially to play those notes but the strap restrains me. College day performance will be my 1st official performance, can't wait =D
Just finished PI. Getting an extention in deadline cos PW teacher went to vietnam for some talk =D I'm not feeling sleepy now, suprisingly. Perhaps it was the oreo waffle stick i just ate XD I know i'll fall asleep during math lecture tomorrow. I always do X__X Will get to go home at 12.30pm and this is the list of homework i have for the weekend: 2 paragraphs for GP, finish graphing and conics tutorial, bio DNA tutorial, finish up history SEA summary. Will have more to add to the list tomorrow i'm sure. Hey, that's pretty little homework! =D Add in revision and i should have a pretty filled up weekend. Band prac this saturday will be at nj, thankfully. No more lugging of the saxophone home. Much as i want to bring the instrument home to practise, i treasure my fingers more.

When exactly is it??
I don't believe it.. another week has passed.
Next week will fly by even faster cos there is just too much going on. Band pracs, rehearsals, lecture tests, homework due and a 101 other things.
Had band prac at nie yesterday, from 10+am till 4pm. My fingers are quite sore today, not from playing but from carrying the saxophone case. I tell you, that hard and brown case is the most unfriendly thing i've ever seen. Not nice to hug, has a rough handle and gives blue blacks when you knock against it accidentally.
I've been meaning to get rid of the mouldy mouth piece in my saxophone case ever since i spotted it a month ago. But couldn't bear to; a mouth piece + ligature +3.5 reed cost quite a bit, and other than being slightly mouldy, the mouth piece seems to be in perfect condition =D even better than the current mouthpiece i'm using =X But don't worry, i will never put something that dirty close to my mouth X__X I've isolated it in a plastic bag.
Watched gintama episode 76 and 79. The 'princess gorilla' and 'out of toilet paper' episodes XDXD FREAKING FUNNY ahahahhahaha

Band
Slept at 1 am yesterday cos i was watching gintama and nodame cantabile. Woke up at 8 this morning for band. Nodame cantabile is quite an inspiring anime, especially for orchestra or band members. So i strongly recommend yufei and sammy to watch!
Andrew aka the head led the band in warm up excercises today and it was different from the usual warm ups. The band moved to the amphi theatre area and i kept trying to stay in the shade but to no avail T_T So i sweated like a pig =__= Thankfully we returned to the band room for tuning and stayed there till the end of prac. Mr Ho wrote this whole list of songs he wanted to go through but so far, we've never managed to get past the 3rd song. I like an american in paris! Cos it's written by gershwin and it's jazzzzzz XD Will be performing this song for college day i guess. Had a slight headache cos i plugged the earphones in my ears for too long a period of time yesterday.
Danza sinfonica is officially my favourite band song now. Whenever i hear a buzz or vibration of some kind, the bass clarinet part for danza will start playing automatically in my mind. I'm going mad. @_@ and it's ALWAYS the bass clarinet part. Plays in a loop
I've noticed a few interesting things in band. Hilary kisses his reed whenever he's not playing. It looks very strange. Li Qiang, the tuba guy closes his eyes when he pitches. Then opens them like, around 5 seconds later, slow-ly. XD When band ended today, i was putting my saxophone back into the case when i reaslised it was abnormally cold and windy in the band room. The wind seemed to come from behind me. Turned out that the trumpet section (last row) was practising the fanfare and blasting away like anything. Usually the french horn ppl would be behind me, acting as a buffer but don't know why they disappeared then. Perhaps they didn't want 'aircon' provided by the trumpet section.
Oh yes! I ran 14 minutes and 52 seconds for my 2.4!! Totally unexpected wahahaha thought i would end up with a 16minute timing cos i had this bad stitch down my right. haha gold for this year should be no problem =X

just like two halves of a jade sake dish?
Mushishi is such a beautiful anime. Each bittersweet episode leaves me wanting more.. there can't just be only 26 episodes! I need more mushishi or i'll start coming up with new episodes myself and go crazy X__X
I finised PI =D and chem VA in one afternoon. Not very productive heh could have done much more actually. No more make up lectures after school from tuesday onwards. Finally, i get to go home at the same time as everyone. Read this super cool manga called DOG on friday. Pretty short series but the manga is still on going. Yes, i've got to learn to balance my time properly between studies and anime+manga or there will be no meaning to life.
My heartbeat accelerates each time i see your name. It makes me feel idiotic.
