Your time is up.. or is it?

I was just thinking about this last week. The old geezer in HxH has died, maybe it's time for the one in Bleach to move on too. Viola, Yamamoto did just that at the end of chapter 395 though his death was only confirmed in the next chapter. Hmm are there any old men in Naruto or One Piece.. i wonder.

This is just a minor similarity, but have Togashi and Kubo been exchanging ideas? Or is a sacrificial explosion the only epic way of dying that shounen manga must have? Ahh hardcore Bleach fans are going to flame me if they read this. Cos technically Yamamoto did not cause an explosion. I have no idea what kind of kidou Itto Kaso is but definitely not a nuke which Netero from hxh used. Ok i take back some of my words, Yamamoto might not be dead.. Itto Kaso is a sacrificial kidou but he might not have sacrificed his life.
And just when i thought i caught a glimpse of light which signifies a turning point, all hopes are wiped out then the baddie says "You call this a wound?" -_-

Hahaha after the ???!?!! Hunter X chapter 299, Togashi rewarded us with a very solid chapter 300 where Gon goes with Pitou to revive Kaito. I was so happy to see Gon and Killua again, i don't mind enduring another crazy chapter with crying chimera ants. Serious.
Chapter 301 was alright. I'm starting to like the King abit more after seeing his more humane side and the memory loss had better change his attitude towards dominating the world. If not it really serves no purpose. If Togashi's current fetish is to draw cutesy chibi characters, so be it. Though i very much prefer to see Pufu in his bishie form.
Aren't they just adorable? XD compared to
*shudders*
